I reached my original goal weight of 150lbs back in Dec of 2004. In July 2005, I was down to 146lbs. Since then Ive had ups and downs, cheated and vacationed (more cheating), lost and regained soooo many times. Im now at 168lbs, Highest since goal was 170lbs.
But now Im set on really getting back to my goal weight of 150lbs. My body is just fighting me I tell you! Been on induction for 2 weeks, then I actually started the fat fast last week, did it for 5 days, and gained 2 lbs! I cant budge this weight. Im afraid I'll be stuck here forever. I know what Im doing, Ive done it before. Why isnt it working this time? Can anyone help me sort this out? There must be something Im doing wrong this time!

Re: Help! Cant lose what Ive regained!
Hey Baby, since you are a seasoned looser, and have taken off more than 100 lbs, I know the goalies here might have to weigh in their opinions I just did not want to miss an opportunity to say "hey there"...
Good luck in finding what's missing. Sounds like you are in a hurry and your body is not interested in going up an down, so may be it has put a hault on weight loss, trying to stop the yoyo. It's frustrating, we find a program that works and we work it!!! and our bodies loose the weight in their timing...not ours! Remember Atkins designed this with long term "way of life" concepts, and our bodies do their best under that longevity approach, not the "hurry up and drop the weight already!" approach. Atkins never promised to be a quick fix...74 8/1/06

HI there.
I'm with Jess on that one......you can't rush it!
I'm kind of stuck at present too, but all kinds of circumstances can impact on you. Be strong. If you lost 110 pounds than lday that's a truckload and you should feel proud that you did it, that you are not out of control an that you will get there.
Jess is sooooo right....slow and steady wins
this race,

Re: Help! Cant lose what Ive regained!
Hey BabyPhat! where you been hiding?? Maybe I've been hiding..
Anyway, I agree...I think you just need to keep plugging away at it. Remember, there are people who didn't lose a pound in their initial induction and then started losing afterward. I've been struggling with losing my vacation weight also from last week. The one thing I'm finding that helps is LOTS of exercise if you can. I've been making sure I stay around 15-20 carbs/day and running. Stick with it and good luck!Higgies

Re: Help! Cant lose what Ive regained!
From 168 to 150 is 18 pounds.. 10% lost during induction would be 1.8 pounds... It may seem to come off slower with the less you have to lose. It's frustrating no matter if it's 10 or 100 pounds.. take it slow.. it will come off.. 100 pounds did!
Congrats on the 100 pounds gone!
