  • Good Tues Morning

    Hey everybody. It's JUST another day. I have a million little things on my plate today, things that are just plain boring things. Nothing great and spectacular. On days like this, I don't know about you, but I usually dont wanna do it, what ever it is...I can feel that thing in me, and I can see it try and blow off exercising, so I already pulled the bike out, it's my next stop. I already planned dinner, and I have a water bottle right here with vitamins in hand...Now, I don't wanna engage in this stuff in all reality. I can feel that stubborn, rebellious attitude banging around, wanting control. TOO BAD, IT'S DAY ENDED AUG 1....I AM IN CONTROL NOW, AND I PRESS ONWARD!!!! ARE YOU IN CONTROL TODAY?

    Caitlin at the cold bus stop this morning admitted to popping her vities, drinking her first water bottle, changing clothes twice and doing 100 crunches all before breakfast at 6am...


    Ok, so it's almost 7:30...and now it's my turn to just focus and follow her through the first water bottle, the vities, and now the exercise! She led the way today! But I am just going to make myself do it, without all the usual hype and happiness!!!!

    Thank goodness I can do it no matter what. No matter if I am into it or not, I can get the basics done! That's good...

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

          Jess! LOL Silly woman. you had me freaked. I am OFF on Wednesday and you had Tuesday. Sent me scrambling for the cell phone to see the date LOLOL

          I'm debating ... exercise first or shower and hit the road? Of course, I'm reading the boards and drinking coffee while the kiddos are up and about. Once they leave I guess I'll decide. I think i'll watch the news and exercise Lots of errands and maybe some stuff for me. I've got my list of stores to hit, my list for each store.. gotta get a water bottle to take with me. Almost forgot that.

          Okay... off to read a bit more posts and then exercise! See yall laterz!

            Nothing like good ol exercise to restore HYPE and HAPPINESS!!!!! I did a crushing 30 min cardio on top of a 5.75 mi bike ride!!! I punched the lights out of my moodiness!!!! Can barely type, but I am smiling again!!!! I am POWERFUL!!!!

              Jess, U are looking incredible! Way to go you! I'm off today, and so much to do. Have to find that darned goatee for my sons Captain Jack costume, and need to order his birthday cake. I do have a quick question though. I weighed at the gym last night and I normally weigh at home in the morning. It showed me at the gym 4 pounds lighter than my scales at home. Should I go by the gym scales or stick with my home scales since those are the same ones I have been using? Either way I'm only going to weigh once a week from now on since the weigh, no way suprised the hedoublehockeysticks outta me! Have a great day everyone!

                Whatever day it is, it is a GOOD one!!! I know I said I was not going to weigh until later on, but honestly, hubby has not taken the scale up to the in-laws yet for the move...so I couldn't resist stepping on it this morning... and I have FINALLY lost all the pre-TOM weight!!!! YEA!!!!!!! I know, I know... I should not have looked....but I wanted to end the weighing on a good note... does that make sense?

                I got a little crazy about it, but this was a learning experience. I know now when I gained it and how long it took to come off again, both from the day TOM started and ended. This way, when I am weighing again next month, I will avoid those 2 weeks!

                So, as of today, I am FREE from the scale...no more... I will measure and go by the fit of my clothes!

                So, hope everyone is having a great day! Thanks for everyone's support during my mini- meltdown!

                    Good morning everyone! We were up with the chickens this morning, or I should say the plumber. His early call jolted us out of bed. We finally had a good night's sleep, then, WHAM! It's not even for us, it's for my dad's summer place next to us. It's cold 29'F and was 61 in the house. brrrr. Time to use the heaters. I'm drinking a cup of hot coffee.

                    I am OP, drinking water, using my treadmill daily.

                        Hey Jess, Yep, I'm about as far Northern Cali as we can get. There are lots of great trails and highways for bike riding if you ever get out this way, be sure to bring your bikes. But we love the beauty of cities too, day and night. I used to live in San Fransico, so we go when we get the chance--not so much anymore though because it's so expensive just for the gas and motels. Now we live in a valley where it gets over 90F in the summer, but just 10 minutes from the ocean to cool if we need to. I think a lot of people wouldn't like it here, especially if one likes the fast night life at clubs...the only night life we have is bears. LOL Still, we have to keep our doors locked...you know, those bears are smart! ~kidding.

                        Oh, I meant "OP" as "on plan" meaning following my Atkins' plan. I try not to use abrevs. because I never know what they mean. I do know WOL, WOE...
