Tonight was trunk r treat at church. It was a blast.

The guys are going hunting in the morning. Oldest is at a friend's house. It will just be me and the youngest in church tomorrow and then a relaxing afternoon.

I will be so glad when H'ween is OVA!

Don't forget the clocks fall back tonight. That means it's almost 10.. bedtime!

I love setting the clocks back! Problem is, we have to set them forward again. *thankful I don't work in a clock museum*

My Mom was a collector of clocks -- she had over sixty working ones, and liked to have them actually all be accurate (some sort of obsession, I guess). Anyway, twice, each year, she spent about a week resetting her clocks!

Rachel, what the heck is "trunk r treat?"

It's put on by our Church. A safe place for kids to Trick or Treat and have a wonderful time. Those passing out candy park in the parking lot and decorate the trunks of our vehicles. Then we pass out candy as the kids come by. Everyone coming to walk through trunk or treat has a separate parking lot to park in. No cars are moving in the TrT lot and the kids can run around and really enjoy TrT and their parents can visit and relax! We have some who really go all out in decorating and get all dressed up. We don't have many small kids in my neighborhood so this was a real treat for me to see the costumes and the kiddos all having a good time. It's a small church so I saw lots of familiar people It lasted about an hour and then it's over! Hubby made a chili while we were TrTing and a few friends came back to the house to eat. It was a great night

Julie's becoming one of our resident humorists -- and I'm so glad. I think losing weight and becoming healthier are very serious issues; but, they're so much more enjoyable when we can laugh while working on them!

ha ha ha ha Juli !!!

Rachel, that's a great idea and sounds like a lot of fun.

Chris, Over 60 clocks! Not that would take forever. I hate resetting our wrist watches and swear every year to just buy two and keep one for each savings time.

We're having company this afternoon, so I'm happy for the extra hour this morning.

                    elephants do hahah good one!!!!

We has some in the "scream" costume and I'd ask "why the long face??" The parents got it.. the kids all insisted it was SCREAM! LOL One lil boy was in a cow costume and I thought my friend was gonna wet her pants when I asked if he had milk! A lil boy was on his daddy's shoulders and was dressed as a skeleton. I said "no bones about it! That boy is cute!" Oh man.. they were feeding right into my hand when one said "good grief, you are on a roll tonight" and I couldn't resist with PASS THE BUTTER!

Needless to say, we had a howling good time!
