  • Fantastic Monday

Good morning STACers..It's a great day...the new time caused us to go out the door in morning light, instead of darkness. I liked that. I am up and getting ready for a great day! Big day at school, have someone following me and my singing and performing...This might open doors of collaboration in other circles. That would be excellent... Unlike Juli I am not a talent muscian, I am talented at motivating, encouraging and imparting values, in a fun and energetic way, music and song are just the vehicle I move the magic through...
Gonna spike up the hair, power up the guitar and amp, and rock the kids out..
Today topic: "Be responsible and Show respect, these are the two big things I cant forget!" They are the cornerstones of success in people's lives...responsibility and respect....
Off to bike..Have a great day, shoot for high things and achieve them!!!!

Oops, looks like Jess and I were posting at the same time. I apologize, Jess, I wasn't trying to usurp your check-in; I was just anxious to get going. Sorry 'bout that!

TAG...You are it Chris, you start it up this week, I think there is a call in your voice to rise up early and hold yourself to your words and encourage others from that place. We can use a bit of a break from me...I just get up early and blow that trumphet because, well that's what I do...My family would love to stuff a sock in it sometimes...I buzz like a happy bee after I have been up for a while...
You run with it for the week! I will jump on your posts and buzz about there...
I don't ahve toes you can step on, I am not the leader here...nor selfappointed...
I look to your longer journey and desire to hear what you have to say...

Morning. Weight held steady from yesterday, which is nice. I'd like to break the 220s, but that will be tomorrow I hope . Feeling good. My excercise still isn't up to what it was, mostly because the time change has hit me fairly hard. My kids take a while to adapt and thus I get less sleep!

            Morning everyone!

I've hit 143! 143.8 but I'll take it. :P I hae 1.3 pounds to lose by tomorrow for the halloween challenge though, which i can't see happening, but who knows, right? :P

Weekend was good. Got a stressful email from a coworker and had to mull it over for 24 hours in order not to KILL HIM. I managed not to do that though, so phew. I didn't break the diet either.

Had this fantastic thing from wholefoods last night for dinner - it was flank steak with sundried tomatoes, basil, mozzarella cheese rolled up in it. Mmmmmm. I only ate two of the sundried tomatoes though, and had a salad. It was QUITE salty though, so maybe I'm retaining water and I'll whoosh tonight! :P

Love the time change I'm happy to get up after the sun.

Day started out ruff.. but now I'm sailing along. I like my routine and glad to be back in in it. Coffee down, water started. Will exercise when I get a break in work.

                Re: Fantastic Monday

I agree with everyone--it was awesome to drive to work today and have some light in the sky! Good thing too--because it's snowed at least 3" here and still snowing. I couldn't even see the mountains today! I feel bad for the trick-or-treaters going out tomorrow night...hopefully they'll be dressed as Inuits or something.

I put on a pair of pants today that didn't fit last Wednesday! Well, they fit, but they were really tight, and I had the muffin top going on...you know what I mean? Today I am wearing them with a tight shirt and they actually feel a bit loose! I am totally excited!

I'm going to weight myself early this week--on Wed.--for the lose 5lb. before Halloween challenge. I've lost 11.5lb. since I started the challenge, but I want to see how much I lose total for the challenge.

Jess--do your schools have a Character Ed program? Respect was our Sept. value, Responsibility was our Oct. value. If you know a short chant or song about Honesty--let me know! That's our Nov. value, and I'm sort of in charge of the "entertainment" factor of our elem. school character ed. assemblies...

Well hey, have a great day. DRINK YOUR WATER!
