Happy Halloween! Boo... Tues is here. Stac seems to be growing, it's cool coming in the morning and seeing how is here and who is joining us. We are up early, getting the water going, the breakfast eggs cookin and getting people up and out of the house. Whew...I am laying a tiny bit low. Will exercise this afternoon in an attempt to not wear out what little leg power I have left. I have pushed hard, at the end to finish up a Oct goal on the bike.
I love goals and challenges. I entered a milage goal in Sept, but early on I started to split up biking and adding weight training, so I never reached my goal...I felt terrible and like a looser...Today I will cross my personal goal of 200mi on the bike, yet I committed to 100 mi.
Today I finished the 10 pounds down by Oct 31, and I actually lost 24 pounds total on that goal...So I have lost a total of 38 pounds...
That's very exciting considering I cannot make my body shed it's poundage. I can't control when it will drop and when it will hold on to fat.
A leader taught me once, under project and over deliver. I actually did not know if I could loose 10lbs in 6 weeks? I certainly did not conceive that I would loose 24. It feels good, but truthfully so many other things feel better. The clothes feel better than the number. The exercise feels better than the number. The community here feels better than any number! Seeing the success and regrouping of many to this journey, REALLY FEELS BETTER than MY PERSONL SUCCESS!
So I sit at a new level of achievement, and I am ready to commit to new things for Nov.
Can't wait to see who lost what on our little 5pounder by Halloween! Weigh in is tomorrow!
