    Did everyone survive Halloweeny?

Hiya fellow STACers! How did everyone far this halloween? Did you make it through? Need encouragement the next few days? :P

I managed to do okay by not buying any candy and not leaving the house. :P Easy for me though, no kids to bring it home to me!

Hi knicknick, You did great. I have 10 bars of milk chocolate Hershey bars left, and there is no way I would consider eating any. We're giving them to the neighbors tomorrow, or we will throw them out.

They don't celebrate halloween in Norway, even so this is the first year that I didn't buy halloween candy and then sit home and eat it all

There is something satisfying about throwing away perfectly good candy. Make sure to dump something nasty on top of them!! LOL

I made it through Halloween completely unscathed! YAY

It was so easy -- I just played the Hallowe'en Scrooge! (Actually, for some weird reason I didn't have any trick-or-treaters, at all. Last year I had quite a few. Maybe the word got out!

I bought 2 bags of M&M's and 2 bags of Kit Kats for the little ghouls and boils, but we ended up not being home for most of the time. And when we were we didn't get any! Now I have 2 bowls of candy to take to work! They'll eat anything!

                  Re: Did everyone survive Halloweeny?

Halloween was fine! I was dressed to the 9s all day at school, and I gave out chocolate and those cookies I made all day long (seriously, for like 7 hours)--and had no problem with it!

We didn't get any trick or treaters either, and I knew we weren't gonna, so I went through the halls and gave out my extra candy to the teachers before I went home. They looked like they needed it more than I did!

Oh, I got a compliment yesterday from a co-worker! She said I looked fabulous and asked me what my secret was! Hopefully that was a treat, NOT a trick!

We did good over here... we meaning me, as my skinny husband who can eat anything and stay slim chowed down on kit-kats infront of me. Most is gone between the Halloweaners and him. He sucks a little.

Okay, okay, let's confine the male bashing to the Women's forum! That's what it's there for! Well, maybe not exactly what it's there for, but if you're going to do it, I would think that it belongs there. Not that you should do it, of course. I mean you really shouldn't do it; but, if you just can't help yourself, that's probably where you should go with it, since we guys don't really want to hear that stuff, just like you don't want to know about all the things the guys say about the ladies in the Men's forum.

Uh, did I say that? Uh, oh!

Dragonflymoom-- You know what the bummer is for the male metabolism? They die sooner than we do. It's true. The brightest-burning metabolisms kick the bucket earlier. It's partially why we live so long and get their life insurance.
