I feel so strong today! Who hoo me! Today was exercise video challenge and I did it with such ease that I added another segment to my workout. Okay, that one was a little challenging. I could do everything, just not for all the reps required. Gives me something to push forward towards. While recouping from the last segment I watched the total body workout to see what I'd be in for. Amazing! I cannot wait to reach THAT point! I see what a difference losing 29 pounds has made in the bending and moving of my body now.. just think 30 more! I was glued to the screen checking out her movements, breathing and muscles.

I can tell it was a really great workout because my core (tummy) is so sore LOL I never use to think exercise could get me so excited. You are right Jess, those exercise endorphines are WONDEROUS!

You are doing so great, Rachel! I need to be following your lead with the exercise... but it'll have to hold off until i get that treadmill in the new house! Then i will recommit to my exercise program. You are so right ~ those exercise endorphines are quite amazing! Congratulations on staying on track so well!!!

Oh yah, my "core" is feeling it already. It's a good feeling tho. Knowing that i'm moving in the right direction

I teased hubby and said I just may do a mile on the gazelle because I just love that thing! Did I just say that outloud?? I sit at a computer all day and never move.. it just feels really good to MOVE and feel alive after exercising.

oh get a fitness ball and use it as your computer chair and you will get free exercise as you type. in the beginning you are geting a great core workout just balancing on the ball. once you master that you can lift a leg and balance do crunches as pages load, and even do 2 legs up and balance when you get really good.

It was very awkward at first.. now I have my rhythm and just do it. Feels good to have a grip on exercise! Today is gazelle day. I'm looking forward to it.

                    Re: pushing forward

You know Rachel, I pick one day a week, usually when I can have a quieter day the following day, and I do a big milage exercise...it helps me extend myself and feel so empowered...I went from 20min 5 mile rides to a 10 mile ride...At Mulberry park where we ride around the lake, with in a week or two I went for the big 5 laps which was 11 miles...
Today we will take a big walk/hike...that will tax us out! Extending our reach...
You should go for a big 5 mi gazelle in the near future just to extend your reach...NOT a FAST 5, but just getting to 5 will really send you through the roof with excitment...
My biggest day ever was this last Sunday...19 miles total...11in the morning and 8.8 in the afternoon...It was an incredible feeling...and to be honest I had to put in 12 mi days for 2 days to meet my goal...so it really wiped me out..but I felt so accomplished.

                      Re: pushing forward

We really are on the same page! That's how I started things off. First just a mile. Then a mile in the morning and afternoon. Then it was 1.25 miles in the morning and evening.. then it was 2 miles in one session. It really does make you feel empowered I just may have to do that.... thanks!
