    Check in time...
    How is everybody...I posted to HoosierMommy/Jamie on yesterday's thread that I thought based on her activities with exercise, and her committment to this wol, she was in fact strong! She had really developed strength with Atkins.
    I was pointing it out, based on what she was pointing out...

    Can you point out to yourself and to us what you are strong at!

    I have developed a great strength! I am strong about starting the day out with Atkins...I am very strong about making it the top priority of my day, and starting the day right here, followed by exercise, water, vitamins and then food.

    When we get strong, we rely on that strength to hold us together. We go and cling to our greatest strength...Some of us have not developed strength so we come here and cling to STAC or new relationships..
    THAT IS AWESOME!

    Be aware of what you are strong at...What you are working on, and what you still can't be trusted around... BE AWARE...DON'T SLACK, KEEP STRENGTHENING YOURSELF!

    I am strong on my exercise, which totally amazes me! I crave it. I sure wish I craved my legal foods that much LOL I am strong in my water too. Gotta work on those foods. Speaking of.. I'm off to put in a mile to start the day off right.

      I'm strong on not cheating - I haven't ever cheated since starting this. I'm getting good at water intake, too.

        Rachel I've watched you transform into a exerciser...YOU ARE strong there! SUCH TRANSFORMATION...

        We tend to focus on the things, sometime the wrong things..
        I'm not good enough,
        pretty enough, strong enough, ENOUGH OF THAT ALREADY...

        Let's celebrate where we have strengthened ourselves...

          Good morning! Jess and Rachel, I guess I would have to say, I am strong in the fact, that I am the only one in my house eating Atkins WOE, and have resisted temptation, and actually prepare foods that I am not allowed, for everyone else in my house!
          I have also been strong in sticking to my woe in spite of a few weeks stall. (Which finally broke yay!)
          Finally I am strong because It was only a couple of weeks ago, that I could hardly walk a 1/4 of a mile with out terrible pain in my legs and back, as well as not having any energy to keep going, but I did keep going, and today I can happily say I can do 1.5 miles without pain and stuggle.

          I think having weight issues, and having to stuggle because of it makes everyone of us strong, even if we don't diet. I it very hard to be overweight! just everyday living is a challange emotionally and physically.

          But one thing I have learned it has not only made us strong but also very compassionate, warm and loving. I know this by this warmth,& compassion and love I receive here.

            Hi All!

            JESS--great idea for a thread topic!

            I'd say my strongest Atkins trait is my dedication to doing it the RIGHT way, everyday. I have not cheated since I began in August. I was not satisfied with my early results and re-did an entire 2 week induction to rid my body of frankenfoods and caffiene. I exercise vigorously and regularly--and I always give 110% by going beyond where I thought I could go. I am hugely addicted to exercise and going to the gym--I love to sweat! I always drink the minimum 64oz. of water, and 90% of the time I drink about 100oz. per day. I am honest with others on ADBB, but more importantly, I am honest with myself. I cook non-Atkins food for my boyfriend, watch him eat it, and have no problems, cravings, or desire to eat it. I am offered candies and sweets DAILY by my students, and never once have I eaten them--I politely thank them and then throw them in my desk drawer to give out to students later (most likely to the same kid who gave it to me, but by that time, has forgotten about it!) or give them to co-workers. I am not living in an Atkins-friendly environment, yet I never give in to the pressures, and I don't even consider them real temptations anymore.

                I would say that my strength right now is my refusal to give up. No matter how many times I fall off that wagon, I get back on and try again. This is my life line right now.

                    We get so focused on so much, we forget to build UP and highlight OUR STRENGTHS...
                    I am sooooo over focusing what it wrong, i want to focus on what is right, what I am good at, where I am strong, because when something comes along to tackle, I LOOK WITHIN, to cope!!! Well, I've GOT STUFF within to get me through!!!!

                      I just started back yesterday so at the moment I feel pretty strong in my water,food,and exercise but in the next few days as my body goes thru detox I'm sure my strengths and weaknesses will be more clear too me and I'll know what I need to work on and what I can draw my strength from.

                        Major trouble here!!! I fell off the wagon and hard. I've been eating pizza, pasta, you name it. I haven't been doing my sit-ups, not walking, nor drinking water! I try each day to put it behind me and start fresh but I can't seem to do it. I haven't been logging on too embarrased that I can't get back in control. But, it only made it worse. I don't know what to do. I've gained 5 pounds. I need help to get back on track...

                          Gem, your strength today was coming here and asking for HELP! That's what ADBB is for, so don't ever be too embarassed to come here and ante up! It's what we do. Do you have your DANDR? Go read in DANDR to find some reasons. Look within yourself and find your reasons.

                          My strength today is drinking my water, eating on plan, being committed to my exercise, and supporting those who need my support.

                              Hey Gem, glad you came and reached out...Girl, start right now, when you read this, get a glass of water, and drink it...Plan your next meal to be low carb in duction and just do it...then start over again...
                              One minute, one hour, one meal, one day...Start now...use all you have to bring yourself back here..come back here every single chance you get...You can turn it around, it's gonna be hard BUT YOU HAVE ALREADY STARTED...so start now, comeback!
