    Morning STAC

    My friend Gem noticed nobody had posted yet...so I popped up to post. It is a terrible day here, overcast, misty, rain on the way...So, no climbing Stone Mtn. I am disappointed...For some reason, I needed it today. I needed a hard agressive work out to over come a bit of a low. I needed a change! Today I am driven inside by weather, so I feel a bit trapped in the "familiar"...when I was seeking to bust out! I might go walk in the weather! My friend Gem is getting off to a great start, she is walking in the early morning somewhere in Texas!

    Gem and I are alike today, in that we are getting up and GETTING A GRIP OF OURSELVES!!!!! We are on the same page this morning, getting out there and MAKING IT HAPPEN, NO EXCUSES. WE ARE TAKING CONTROL!!!!

    She fell off the wagon, and well my wagon seems to be unusually bumpy right now, emotionally...
    She is sticking to a day to day plan at the moment, I will actually follow her lead. Today together arms link in purpose, we are going to make it happen.

    Thats the beauty of this site, someone reachs out for help, some one reaches across cyberspace and says, "I am here, link arms with me"...
    Funny thing is today, I don't know who needs who more...
    Hey Gem, I am outta here, going to hop on my bike and ride the hills in my subdivision. I am doing it because you took off for a walk on your property...I will meet you back here in a while, I should be home by 9amEST.

    Hello!

    I slept in this a.m.--I meant to get up at 7, but alas, didn't get up until 8. I have a busy schedule for myself, lots of things to do, and hopefully I can resist the pull of...
    the ADBB! For me, carbs aren't the issue anymore--I'm addicted to this bulletin board!

    Well I will be making some beef jerky and french bread later today for a friend, going to the gym for a couple hours, doing some laundry, and perhaps some Birthday shopping--my bf turns 25 on December 3 and I need to start looking for gifts...anybody know if Seinfeld seasons 7-9 are out on DVD yet? He would die of happiness for those...well and he's kind of expecting them! 2 Years ago I got him 1-3, last year I got him 4-6. But he's such a big fan, he doesn't care if he's surprised or not!

    OK well get out there and exercise, and drink ya watah!

      Good morning all. I reaaaaaaaaaaaally slept in this morning. Normally I get up at 6:30 out the door to the gym at 7-715ish. I didn't get up until 9:15!! I'm having laundry to do, movies later, studying, and gym i'm thinking... i need something i can do because my lower body is really sore.... any ideas?

          Goooooooooooooooood Morning STAC!

          I made it back from the Rockies in one piece. It was iffy there for a while, since I thought I might starve to death, but bringing food with me helped SO much. And, as it turns out, they had extra money at the conference so they fed us a few buffets (which enabled me to eat atkinds-friendly!). I lost 2 more pounds at the conference though! YAY! So, I made it!

          JEss, I"m sorry to hear it's a rough wagon these days, I hope you're doing okay! I'll pop into your journal to catch up as soon as I can!

          Puma- If your lower body is really sore you should walk. Walking will loosen your muscles up and help you get past the soreness!

            Hey everyone ,

            I geuss today was really the day to sleep in LOL I also slept in this morning and boy it felt great.
            It is raining here in Ontario Canada also and I dont feel like doing much of anything other than staying dry. I already went shopping with my DSis this morning to stock up on WOL friendly foods as there were some really good sales today on meat and cheese. Now all I have planned for the day is to do my WATP video and watch afew movies.

                  Hi everyone, Its 4 here now so no lol i didn't sleep in as i was up at 630. i mosey'd around untol almost 1030 lol does that count as sleeping in? I then went got some books and then went to the gym. I changed up my routine took a step beyond so to speak today which i was very proud of myself. My focus today was because i took my motivation from goals i wanted to accomplish. None of them but one were related to weightloss. Thinking and picturing myself, thinking about how i would feel gave me this awesome motivation and when i went to the gym, it was sort of like a rededication thing. I know it sounds silly, but i was able to utilize those feelings and thinkings while i was working out. I felt like a woman on a mission, grabbing my motivation and rededicating my focus.

                  i think people need that the refocusing. i use it when i am down, when sometimes i just want to quit. To me, we are all changing, each pound that disappears changes us a little bit more. So many times, we are not the same person we were in the beginning. So each time i fall into a slump, into a downer, into anything, and i start realizing i need to refocus, i start brainstorming in my head until something clicks, today all it took was a song, which lead to my thinking of things i want to do not for any real particular reason except i want to do them. i am very glad i was able to refocus today, it allowed me to take a step up in my exercise and lift me up beyond my duldrums of continuation if that makes sense. I am not the same person i was a month ago, 15 lbs ago, 28 inches ago. Today, i am different, a difference i am enjoying, a difference i am getting to know, a new me emerging. Today i am different, today, i am refocused.

                    Hey Jess, Sorry you had to put off your climb on the mountain. I've been thinking about you all day, sending positive vibes your way and to all who need it. I like the picture with "fat be gone." Thanks for posting her. I will let that keep me going now and all of next week.

                    Gem, hang in there. you can do it.

                    Juli, I'm so adicted to this message board too. If I'm not on it, I'm thinking about it. The entire season of Seinfeld 7 is Walmart . com now, but 7 is as far as I've seen. We have 1-3 and are going to get the rest as well. I love it, and watch it every day.

                    puma, I hope you found an exercise you could do today. I would have said walking too if I had been here earlier.

                    Knicknack, congrats on the 2 pounds while you were in the Rockies. That's fantastic!

                    hi ante_up, glad you were able to find some sales. I love it when I can save money on my low carb foods

                    abstract, That's so wonderful you are refocused. I need to do that too, so I'm going to do what you did, tomorrow. I'm tired today, so will just do my treadmill.

                    We had fun on our two night, 3 day trip. We got our walking in, so I kept up on that. We really didn't do anything special, other than the trip itself, which I loved just getting away. We stayed on Induction with no problems, although the thought crossed my mind ONCE that I could eat the bun and estart tomorrow. I know myself better than that, so I didn't fall for it. LOL I made it! We made a few "cheese crackers" at night in the motel room microwave, and our BK double burger with no buns had lots of lettuce on them. I got a only a couple of hours sleep each night for the past several nights, and I've been up since 1:30 am today. I'm sure to sleep good tonight. Have a great weekend everyone.

                      Babs it's great to have you and Knick Knack back...
                      Oh have bounced around here alot to day...so I forgot to tell you that Dragonflymoon is doing great, she is on clean induction! She is exhausted and they move into the house Today...their computer cable thing is out til the 14th..
                      She wanted me to check in with you guys, but I have been off popping around with friends here today, goofing off...nothing serious. I think this is the first day I have goofed off, around here...Beats eating illegal foods...

                        I missed good morning a long time ago....so I'm hoping that everyone's morning turned out successful and their p.m. is ending on a good note!
                        All is well this way...struggled with my plan to lay off the iced tea and drink more water....but everything else was o.k.
