Has anyone tried butter lettuce? It tastes a lot like spinach. The lefts are really tender and limp like spinach with minimal crunch. It's really high in fiber. Something new to try and add to the list. I was in a splurging mood yesterday LOL

I have mostly quit iceburg lettuce completely, Its flavorless and vitamin less. I love butter cause its like tender, if that makes any sense

Wow, lots of folks eating butter lettuce and here I thought I discovered something new LOL
Ohoo, yes, I can see it used as wraps - much better than my romaine lettuce! In fact, I used the butter lettuce as a wrap around summer sausage slices with cheddar cheese and a dollap of spicy mustard. MMM Dunno why it didn't click to use it as a wrap for everything!
tender, yes.. just like spinach. I've never seen it in a bag. Will have to look. Mine is "alive" with the roots still on it. The kids freaked out over that HAHAHAHAHAComment
