  • two days in...

and everything is awesome! I've tried this WOE many times and have really fallen off the wagon. Lucky for me, I've come to the point where I really want the old "me" back in such a way that failure simply isn't an option.

In the past, I'd always kept caffeine in my diet. This go, I decided to cut that too. I'm really grateful because I think I'm past the flu and headaches-I didn't think I could get through it but it was short! One thing I want to make clear to everyone is that my hunger has subsided SIGNIFCANTLY. I really feel this may be because I took caffeine out of the mix.

One more thing...visiting this board has given me so much more strength and motivation. More than anything, it has given me hope and resolve. You guys rule!

Glad to hear things are going so well for you! Caffeine is a hard thing to cut out, but I've found that the headache doesn't hang around for long. Congratulations for getting back on the wagon, and good luck! You'll do great!

It will bring great rewards, it's a great way of life, alot of hard work, planning and fortitude needed, but by golly it's worth what you get in return, the old self, which is a renewed self, energy, health, activity...zest! I'm on day 3 and am totally pumped up this time around. Check in several times a day if you can. It really helps! Our friends on this board are very motivating, aren't they?

Thanks everyone for the cheers! And thank you for "reminding" me to get to the gym. It's a block from my office and I need to get there. I know I need to do that too!
