  • Saturday Shopping,Stress and MySTAC

Things are truly different the second time around. I spent the entire day shopping with my 16 year old daughter for her Sweet Sixteen outfit. Normally on days like today, we spend it eating all kinds of fast foods , drinks and your basic junk . Today I hit an all time high by making the 'appropriate food choices'. Instead of grabbing the first thing I saw to eat when the hunger pains started to take over I found my way to a Ranch 1 resturant and had grilled chicken, steam brocolli and a diet coke (gave the baked potato to my daughter). What a difference 47 days can make. Had this been in September I would had a supersized meal at McDonald's to include two apple pies. I would say that this day yet another major accomplishment for me and for that I give myself a hand.

Wriggle dances for Harlem. Your focus is exceptional!! Great way to set your priorities and planning instead of going with instinct. You have a reason to celebrate!

All of you have inspired me to challenge myself. The goal is to make wiser choices for long lasting results. After all this is not a quick fix, but a total lifestyle change. Thanks.
