  • I can't wait until I can...

    Easily tie my shoes.

Feel comfortable in a public bathroom stall, instead of always using the handicapped stall.

Who would like to add to my list? There's a ton of things I can list!

    Re: I can't wait until I can...

I want to bend over without grunting, look down and see my feet without bending over (and grunting), put on my socks without feeling like I'm trying to bend a stuffed sausage in half, I want to get rid of the feeling that my inside and skin are stretched too tight, and walk up a flight of stairs without panting halfway up.

    I could go on, LOL.

I can't wait until I can honestly be comfortable with my fiance, whom I've been with for 11 years, seeing me naked.

        Until I can:

Run, jump, dance, rollerblade, bike, play tennis, surf ...for any length of time and still have breath.

Me, I'm looking forward to being able to move without pain and waking up without pain. Oddly enough, when I'm in ketosis, my muscles move without problems. I am flexible enough to put on my socks.

                  Re: I can't wait until I can...

LOL, Yep, everywhere...brought out my rollerblades. LOL. (ok, so I REALLY don't have roller blades, but heck..this is the internet I can have what I want to...sorta) lmao.

Well, I was having all these annoying health troubles, acid reflux and the like, when I came accross the Atkins Diet. I emailed that guy a huge THANK YOU. (he was still alive and kicking strongly at the time....this was like in 2002 or was it 2003...something like that)

Oddly enough, my body had been forcing me to eat that way. My body put me on detox a few years ago. I couldn't stand the site of most foods for a month. It was soup broths and soft foods, but I'm glad it happened. My body was showing me what I needed to do. In a few weeks time I got rid of 35 years of eczema break outs, acid reflux, numbness in the legs and hands, hypgo glycemia, you name it..I probably got rid of it.

Well, I went back to eating "normally" And my body gave me another whap on the head. Again, I was put back into detox, but THIS time...I realized what my body was showing me...stay away from wheat and starches. It was then I realized that my eczema had been gone, no pain, no break outs. I was a happy camper. Heck, if I'd known it was wheat doing all this, I'd have quit sooner. Eczema is painful, and I had it on my hands and feet. Many a school day I'd go to class with my right hand covered in sores because of this, or a thumb cracking and sore. BUT, NO MORE....wahhhhhoooooo...

I was not comfortable with my husband seeing me naked when I weighed 98 lbs., don't think I will ever be there. And that is being married 25 years come this next February and dating 5 years previous to that.

I can't wait until I can... lower my blood pressure, be healthier for that, and get off the expensive meds.

                          I can't wait until I can ....

Look at myself in a photograph without cringeing. There isn't one photograph of me in the past 5 years that I like. When I reach goal weight can you imagine how much I'll be throwing myself in front of a camera!

.....sit on the floor and get back up.
.....fit in the seats at the movies.
.....sit on furniture without the fear of it breaking.
.....go to a resturant, sit in a booth and not give it a second thought.
.....bend over to pick something that I've dropped without the fear that my pants will split.
.....go out on a windy day and not worry that the wind will catch my bat wings and fly me across the yard.
.....turn my bat wings in for butterfly wings.
.....walk in a crowd and only be noticed for my beauty and not how large I am.
.....go horseback riding on the beach.
.....go home to phoenix, run into people I know, walk up to them and say hi and have them reply "I'm sorry do I know you"
.....meet the man from my inspirational bulletin board (hey we all need a fantasy ) in Paris.
