Hey everybody...I am flying out the door...back in school today, singing to 240 kids over 4 straigh hours of classroom visits...It's gonna be great, but exhausting...
Hey check in and bond!!! We are all doing great.. Loved Harlems story about the bathtub...What are you proud of right now in your journey.
I am proud to be strong and organized and on top of my game, at a time when I am doing so much...I am proud that my way of life is still top priority and I HAVE MET ALL MY GOALS FOR NOVEMBER.
I am so proud of myself....and that's what is important.
Some might be proud they have bounced back from a carb crash! A Cheat, a slip, a insane moment...Some might be proud to be getting in all their water or managing to meet exercise goals... Some are so proud to be telling the truth on themselves the good and the bad...
What are you proud of...What are you doing great at...there are so many places to celebrate in this way of life...Ya'll stir up a huge and I mean huge PRIDE PARTY.

I am proud of my dedication and determination. My boyfriend thinks it's unreal...he doesn't know how I've been able to just give up these foods...but I tend to think of it as gaining other things--health, energy, smaller clothes, a better body, an unfoggy mind.

        Pride Party! Love it!

I'm doing really well this week. Even on a Wednesday (not a routine day) I am drinking water and watching what I eat. One more day to go to meet the challenges. I met my miles.. the video.. well.. lets just say I discovered I'd rather do the miles LOL Though, I did buy a Walk Away the Pounds - 3 miles - and it kicked my butt!! Today is a day of REST. But I did it!! It was a great workout to push the limit and I plan to do it again soon.

Waiting until tomorrow to weigh for the month! Not expecting to meet that goal, but knowing I made it through the holiday, and other life stuff, without gaining is a huge plus in my book!

You know what I like about Jess? She always keeps it 'real'. She is one of the many reasons I keep coming back. I'm with Rachel, 'Pride Party', I love it. I'm proud of the fact that we are soooooo support of one another, sharing a major common goal.

Harlem, I AM PROUD OF YOU and I just loved what you said in your thread!!!!!
You are gaining ground, taking ground for that matter, and moving forward..YOu have alot ot be proud of!
We all do...We have all worked so hard, and as I tell little kids, "when you work hard, you get better" it doesn't matter what you do and don't get tripped up I am not talking about perfection, but "getting better"...The biggest reason why we avoid the "ONE BITE" is the reintroduction of carbs, kicks off true, physiological responces that are extremely hard to over come...and some can't walk back so easily...
We are proud because we made and keep committments, and if we break down and win our way back, and its no easy feat! We are proud to come back...We are all comeback kids...

I'm joining that PRIDE party, too!!! I am so happy that I found all of you! I'm in the middle of week 3 and am still going strong. I am VERY proud of that!

My hubby is on day 3 and kicking butt!!!! I'm EXTREMELY proud of him, and proud of myself for tempting him into trying Atkins. He saw how well I was doing and just had to be a part of it. Good psychology on my part, huh? Oh, and by the way, hubby has volunteered to cook breakfast for us every morning while I'm getting the kids ready for school. This morning he made bacon and eggs.

It is very cold here in California this morning -- I don't want to say what the temp is because all of you in the east will think I'm a baby. It's probably much, much colder out there!

              Have a great day!

Juli, my boyfriend is the same way. In fact, he's starting to be pissy about it because he's been gaining weight and i'm losing weight. He doesn't get it. He makes little comments about how I eat salad all the time, or that I'm starving myself, even though he sees quite well that I devour a steak once or twice a week. :P he's just jealous! :P But, he totally sees the results and is supporting me on my quest, he just doesn't understand it.

                  Re: STAC Check in Wed

I am proud of the improvements I have made in the exercise department. I began a spinning class the week before Thanksgiving and I was very nervous, but determined. I actually spin the entire 45 minutes without stopping and do half of the standing positions and all of the tension changes. I am very proud of this as I have always been too afraid of failing in a class atmosphere! I am also walking to any meetings I have downtown. I even walked with my son's class to a field trip today about 1 mile each way from his school. I also joined the crunch challenge for these last 3 days of November and will continue it for next month as well. Exercise is the way to go!

I am at the point in my weight loss where I was just bouncing around within a 7 pound range and I know with continued exercising I will slide to the lower range and lose these last 60 pounds! Thanks for the support everyone!!

Aw...what a groovy pride party. Am I invited??

I'm proud that I've rediscovered those early morning hours that I used to enjoy, but fell away from. 5 am is the greatest time in the morning. I wake up and five minutes later I'm kicking butt on the exercises. I'm proud of the new way I start my day. It totally changes how the entire day goes!

Wednesday Check-In. I am watching Oprah with Dr. Oz (the weight doctor).
REALITY CHECK HERE.........He just said that your waist should be 1/2 your height.

With this calcuation, my waist should be 32 inches. I haven't had a 32 inch waste I don't think ever...I am sure I past it somewhere on my way to 45 inches!!

So I am using my Wednesday as a day of reflection. I want to rethink where I want to be in the coming days, weeks, months......I want a change that involves more than shedding pounds. I want to shed baggage that interferes with me maintaining this lifestyle and doing what is obviously best for me and my health in the long run!
                          Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Yeah, I didn't mean to say that my bf wasn't supportive... He just doesn't get it. He totally will work with me to find a restaurant where I can have good food, doesn't keep carb foods around, etc... but at the same time he's really touchy that he hasn't lost any weight even though we both 'started' dieting at the same time. He hasn't dieted more than a minute, I'd say. So he gets a little snide and makes little comments about lettuce and things like that, and gets touchy about the fact that he's eating carbs as if I'm judging him. I'm not judging him at all - he never said he was going on a low carb diet, he just said he was going to lose some weight. And he hasn't. I don't say boo about that either, I've never mentioned his weight ever (he's just got like 20 pounds to lose really). It's just all him being insecure I guess.

Oh well, nothing I can do about it. When he actually talks to me about dieting I try to tell him what I'm doing, and he sees what I'm doing, he just doesn't think he can do it. His prerogative, I guess!
