    TOmorrow is the day... who is starting with me, i have been trying to restart for a year now and I am getting fatter by the minute, i want to be down 10 lbs by my brithday 12/23... do this with me please.... Help

    any words of advice will help

      Well actually (after some really bad choices yesterday at a funeral), I restarted this morning. So I'm with you as well. You can't change what has already happened but you can change today and tommorrow and next week. Just jump right on and keep going.

        I will stary with you tomorrow the !st day of December. My mom is comng to visit me for Christmas from Virginia her to Reno and it would be nice to "WOW" her for a change

          Welcome to STAC! Girls I am so excited you are here. Grab hold of Rachel she is the best. She and I have been walking this thing together for 4 months now. Check out her Journal Stats, and see the amazing journey she is on! She will be a great motivator...December is going to be tough, we just got a big wiff of how tough by going through the Thanksgiving holiday, but I know all ofyou can make it.
          We have all been focusing on Jan 1. Thats a month away, it's also "traditionally" the beginning of a whole new year. I can't wait to stand on that day, knowing I have slowly reshaped my life with food, and this my lifestyle and relationship to living...
          I encourage you all to post constantly and keep in step with Rachel. I also encourage you to check out the exercise challenges and find one that will motivate you...Watch out, Rachel has been bitten by the exercise BUG BIGTIME!!!!

              Hey Leah, I've seen your posts a couple times... I saw you tried the lunch being the step. Did you prepare everything and take all the bad carbies away from yourself before getting ready to start on this adventure again?? I think that it's easier for me to do if I keep lots of "legal" snacks around for at least the first few days... then anytime I want anything, there's something there... it may not be *exactly* what I want, but it's something.. and being in shape *is* what I want. All I can say is, take it one bite at a time.. so you're putting something good and legal in your mouth, just keep doing that, drink your water, evaluate food *before* you eat it, decide if it's really worth having that piece of candy... *hugs*
