I didn't forget Saturday, I was out shopping to buy hair products and bottled water. AND I went to the GYM!
Hmm, no real deep thoughts for today. Rachel and Jess are much better-suited to thinking up meaningful posts.
But I will say that I feel extremely positive about December. What are your hopes/thoughts/goals/feelings/aspirations for this hectic month!?!??
I feel like this is going to be a great month, and that I'm really going to push myself to do the best job I can. I'm off to a GREAT start with a 3lb. loss...and I'm really digging this new training plan at the gym. I'm focusing on stopping when I'm full--Last night I made pumpkin, and spooned out a serving on my plate. I had a spoonful and was full (hey I had eaten an omelette, too, don't think I don't EAT!) and so I put the rest away, knowing it'll be there when I want it! It felt really good to be AWARE of my body being full so soon...the weeks leading up to this have been hard for me to tell when I'm full. So I'm listening more deeply and more closely to my body this month.
Its great that you can be in tune with your body enough to really listen to it, Juli. Sounds like you're off to an awesome month!
December is one of my least favorite months, but I'm finding that this WOL and all the exercise I've been doing has really helped me to stay focused on what's important. December is such an easy month to let "things" take over, so I'm thankful to have something different and more positive
Chasin, you are doing such an amazing job! I mean, girl you pop up everywhere, and look at all the exercising you are doing. I bet you have a ton of energy...
Juli, I think, with all the exercise, your body also is demanding more fuel in the foods...I think it's harder to tell you are satisfied with exercise is really low...(and I don't kow what I am really saying here)other than I usually am more hungry when i have exercised extensively...

Hi everybody -- I was busy earlier, too, but wanted to be sure to check in! We went to a dinner at church last night, and I asked ahead of time what was on the menu just in case we needed to eat before going.
We were so lucky! Roast beef, cooked brocolli, salad, and mashed potatoes. So, all we had to leave out were the potatoes. One of the ladies at church made all the food -- it was wonderful. Her brocolli was the best I've ever had. Her secret is to boil the water first, and then put the brocolli in. Don't put it in while waiting for the water to boil. It was soooo good.
They also served ice cream sundaes for dessert. Hubby and I had a squirt or two of whipped cream.
Anyway..... enjoy your weekend everybody -- see you tomorrow!

Hi everybody. I've been on the go all day too. I got my computer back in working order - yay!! I've ate on plan all day, walked 3 miles, Christmas shopped and have been in a good mood all day. LOL! (That's quite an accomplishment some days - that mood thing.) Right now I'm starved though, somehow I missed dinner. Going to have to find something to eat really quick.
Hey all,
Didn't forget about Saturday...just slept in and lounged around a lot of the morning with hubby. Ran some early morning errands too. Doing great. Just boiled some cabbage in the broth I'd frozen from the boiled down bones of my Thanksgiving Turkey. Will find some protein to go with it.
Gonna wind down and watch a movie.....
Have a great Saturday night..........
