  • Monday 12/4 Check IN!!!

    Hrmmm well I didn't see a check-in thread so I'll start!

    What are your plans and goals for this week...what one thing are you focusing on to improve or accomplish?

    I would like to complete my treadmill miles for the triathalon by next Monday. It will be a lot of work, but I think I can do it in 7 days. That's my goal...and even if I don't make it, I will be closer than when I started!

    I am about to start back on the gazelle. I want to get a good chunk of my shopping done on Wednesday. I want to drink my water

    Ohoo, I managed to get in 0.5 mile on the gazelle. I feel so much better knowing I'm attempting Will try to get another 0.5 mile this afternoon. Slow and steady.

        Hey everyone! Happy Monday! My goals are to keep doing what I'm doing with food, exercise, and water. It's all been kept up with no effort for me either.

          Monday starting off good -- I'm down 11 pounds after 3 weeks. My goal for this week is to drink my water and to stay away from the diet sodas.

            Hey everyone this week, I think like Juli, I am going to be focusing on knocking out some of my committments with exercise...I put the hardest first, and I would like to build a lead.
            I have been getting busier and busier and will be working on getting all my water in....

              Hiya folks! I have good news today! I am officially in the "normal" range of body fat according to my scale! WOOHOOO! I'm so excited! 32%!

                  Thanks Julirama for starting this thread. I plan to get 64 oz of water in this week. I haven't been doing to well in the water department. I also plan to alternate exercise routines, between the WATP video's and my Treadclimber.

                    Hey Folks....rough Monday for me.
                    Back to day One! Can't even explain it...just gave up and quit last night. Went to a family get together last night and ate all the wrong things. First mistake was going there hungry and then realizing that there was nothing legal for me to eat once I got there! I was upset because the host had called and specifically asked me what I wanted to eat. When I got there, none of that was there. I know this sounds "self-centered"....I think I was deflecting my personal responsibility onto her.

                    None-the-less, I let my frustrations get to me. I started with a chip, then two, then chips with oinion dip, then a cookie, then on and so on and so on..........
                    Kept the pitty party going with french toast (not mock!) this morning. Now I am upset. I have come to the board to check in, confess and now I am going to take a nap!
                    Have a great Monday. Stay focused you STACs and avoid a similar event as I had these past 2 days.

                      Just came home from the gym!!! What a work out!! I walked another 3 miles on the treadmill, so that brings up my mileage count and the best thing is, I feel great and I no longer feel so tired anymore! =) Also, the Produce Manager at my store complimented me saying that I looked thinner. I was all, "DAMN!! You serious?" Cause I haven't noticed anything yet, ha ha. Maybe my tummy is smaller, but I guess that's it. I did thank him for the compliment though, it was really nice.

                      They served fruit at the service huddle, but I resisted the temptation and drank water instead. I think I am up to 64 oz already, so I am good to go for the day!

                      Goals for this week. Make an attempt to go to the gym every day, excercise my butt off, literally. Continue on my clean induction and see how much I have gone down on Thursday. Can't wait!

                        Awesome news, Knicknack about being in the "normal range". That's awesome!

                        As for me, my goals are to keep it up with the water (I find the colder it gets, the less I drink...even though I've been heating it up in a tea kettle and drinking it that way). I also need to go shopping for clothes, because not much in my closet is fittin' me. So I think Thursday will be a shopping trip for some new stuff.

                          Hey Quitstretchin -- jump back on the wagon! That is so strange that the host of the party asked you what you wanted and then she didn't even serve it. I know we shouldn't blame others for our actions, but you were really counting on the right kinds of food being there! I can understand why you didn't eat before going there.

                          The important thing is that you're ready to get back on the wagon. Do it now!

                              Quitstretchin--I'm so glad you came here, fessed up, and are back on plan! It seems like so many people beat themselves up over a mistake, or turn a bad food choice into a year long binge...you're courageous to start over...thanks for your honesty! You'll be back in ketosis in no time...keep chugging the water!

                              Oooh and follow Harlem's pledge of allegiance...I like that!
