  • Thursday Check In

    Good Morning All!!
I hope there isn't a designated person to start the daily check in. I just saw no one had started it yet and thought I'd go ahead. Well, day 6 is feeling good for me. I was a little irritable last night but feel better this morning. I walked yesterday on my lunch break at work. I work at a ob/gyn Dr's office which is inside a hospital and I walked around the entire campus outside and it only took me 18 minutes. I felt great. I will try 2 rounds today. I am struggling with breakfast because I hate breakfast foods and am not feeling hungry at all. I have to plan some menu's this weekend. So anyway I hope all of your Thursday's are great. God Bless and keep up the good work.

Wow, then we posted replies to each other at the same time. LMBO..yes, I am gonna review all of my recipes I used to do before. I remember there were a few I liked. I just hate eggs except once in a while. I am weird. I usually eat left overs from supper the next morning..I know some ppl think gross. I just never was a breakfast person unless in my old self I liked all the bad carbs and stuff. You know the southern curse..buiscuits, gravy, grits and stuff. All toxic to me now. I just have to sit down this weekend and plan some menu's and get some things pre made for next week.
Well, gotta go wake up the kiddo's ..byeee

Not a big breakfast eater either. I usually have snack/brunch around 9... cucumbers and ranch...jicama, deviled eggs, something quick and easy to tide me over until lunch. Same with afternoon snack. Something quick to help me make it to supper.

          Re: Thursday Check In

The last few weeks I have been eating ham/cheese rollups for breakfast with a few cherry tomatoes to get some veggies in each meal. Doesnt take long to prepare and can also be made in the evening and refridgerated to be ready to eat at breakfast if you dont have time to prepare food then.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

                ValidRouge,
I'm really working on the water. It's been a long term struggle for me. My newest tactic is to try and get it all in while I'm at work. There is a water cooler near me, so I'm attempting to visit it often. I have a water chart on my desktop. My goal is to work up to 64 oz and beyond.

Thanks for noticing my low water intake. Your the best.

                  Re: Thursday Check In

There ya go! Good for you for making the effort. When i first started, or when I fail to get it in, it can be hard to get it all down. Basically I just FORCED myself to do it. Once your body gets used to it, for some reason it'll start craving it.

I use 24 ounce sport bottles at room temperature. I have NO problems getting the water down and it makes it easy for keeping track. Just find the trick that works for you.
