  • That which does not kill us, makes us stonger...

There has been a box of See's Candy at our reception desk all day. I can smell the chocolate each time I walk by.

Last year, I would have, without even giving it a second thought, picked out all of my favorite ones with the nuts and caramel, and would have devoured them.

Gulp..... that's me, taking another gulp of my water....

I will be sooooo proud of myself at the end of today!

Tamster, girl you are becoming the bomb! The first 100 times you pass up on the candy or the chips or the whatever it is that's right there calling for you to "return to me"...it's a big step, then you get into this zone, where you just walk around it...
I was at a party this past Thurs night...It was a party/very large women's meeting...Drinks and goodies where floating amoung 150 women, the chocholate tray must have come by me, 4 or 5 times, with a different server each time...My new neighbor thought, "You are soooo strong and committed"...I said, "I don't thing I that strong, but I know if I take a candy I am going to completely give away my strength and the sugar will own me again!"...
I DON"T WANT THAT AND IT LOOKS LIKE YOU DON'T EITHER!"

Congratulations Tammy! It's this very thing that is most important to me and my diet. I love the times like this when I can say, "I didn't eat it." Babs
