    Hey STACErs, how we doing today? I love coming here and checking in on our community...
    The holiday is sooooo here and for some it's hard others, it's beyond challenging and still for others they just started...

    We have to be tough and hold on! We have to keep our eyes on walking through approx 12 more days...
    I keep thinking about Jan 1. 2007, it's been a day I have waited for since starting in August. I AM going to walk into the new year in control of my food. I will walk in so much thinner, and feeling so much better. I am holding on to that today... I can't wait!
    I was able to work out some considering I feel like I have mono today...This cold has not taken over my whole head, but it has robbed me of strength!
    1 mile on the ellip. and 5 mi on the bike at a slow pace. I showed up for my neighbor and because I refuse to "put it off til later or I feel better" I am going to have to have a fever before I'll give up exercise...so what if I can't go fast, or push it, I can still go slow and get it done! Know what I mean???

    Nothing wrong with exercising while your sick. Makes me feel better, too.

    The next twelve days will be hard. I keep thinking about what I will be able to eat on Christmas day... Not too much. Turkey I guess... Maybe I should make something and bring it so I can have something else.

    It will feel nice starting out the New Year knowing I went through the sweetest part of the year without giving into temptation. I just keep saying "I will not give in... I will not give in"

      Hey STACers!

      I am excited...only today and tomorrow and I'm off for almost 2 weeks! I am just drooling, thinking of all the gym time I'll have.

      I'm down a pound from yesterday, but I was up 1/2lb. due to TOM...so technically I'm down 1/2lb. I will weigh in on Friday for the "official" number.

      Today should be a breeze--we are watching movies ALL day. Now that the concerts are done, the kids deserve a break! So does their teacher, for that matter...

        Good morning all:

        Still pluggin away as I see we all aare, YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! This time of year is a challenge but we will make it and as Outback said, walk into the New Year better than we left the old!

        Last evening I started a new exercise program at the Y. It is just a 15 minute daily AB attack program. It is challenging and has to work since it is so intense. This fits in nicely with the rest of my workout (spinning and general). I fell better knowing that I can work on the mid section flab that is so stubborn. I am sure it works all over, but that is a cellulite haven and it must go!

          Good morning!!!

          Looks like everybody is staying focused -- yay for us! I've been doing my walking and my crunches. When I first signed up for the Ab Challenge, about 2 weeks ago I think, I was doing 20 crunches -- of course, everybody else is doing 50, 100, 200, 300. Well, I am now up to a whopping 35!!! Tonight, I'm gonna do 50!

            Mornin gals =). I just had leftover fajitas in my eggs, yum yum. Im already preparing for christmas day, last night I hunted up 3 recipes to make an take! I'm going to make a faux-tato salad, atkins friendly crustless cheesecake and pumpkin pie, so fewer temptations for me, hehe. Now I have to face the demons at the grocery store though, yesterday I drove by and it was packed to the gills, eep!

              After my whining last night, i was down another pound today, yay!

              Juli, you totally look like a friend of mine in your new picture - so weird!

              I really need to get with the exercise. I don't know what's wrong with me, I haven't been doing any at all. *sigh* When I get home i'll walk with my dad, who walks every day. that'll get me going hopefully!

                Hey everyone! I'm here. Checking in late due to lots of work Yeah!

                I think my wreck has been settled.. so I need to start seriously looking for a new truck What a wonderful Cmas present to me!

                It's the 19th and I have not weighed all month! It's a busy month and if I can drink water, eat right and get some exercise in I'll be okay with that. And who feels like exercising when TOM is around?? OMGOSH.. I'm so drained and feeling icky. I'll do my best to make time... okay.. if Jess can do it while she is sick.. I suppose I can do it while TOM is here. I hope your happy Jess <grin>

                Off to exercise... not promising a full mile in one session....

                  Jess you look great!! I am back and starting tomorrow. No excuses. I had a big realization over the weekend, and Im think Im actually ready to do this this time. I need all the help I can get...especially with Christmas coming. Anyway, Ill see you all in the morning.

                    Glad to everyone in a great mood! I've been so tired lately. Not sure if I am fighting something but I'm falling asleep in front of the tv. I've been exercising and eating right but I haven't lost a pound. But, I have been losing inches. I'm not too disappoint about the weight loss just wish I wasn't so tired. Maybe its just the holiday season.

                      Hi all, my energy is up and I'm ready to go today! Got food in the house again, and looking forward to being on the nut rung this next week or so. You feel the electricity in the house here, the boys are so excited about Christmas coming. The electricity makes me want to exercise more. Perhaps I'll get two sessions in today. Drink your water!!

                        Better late than never.......checkin' in for Tuesday @ 11:15pm!

                        Busy day...shopping, running errands since 8am. Didn't eat breakfast and ended up staying out and "forgot" about lunch. Grilled chicken breast off of a sandwich from Wendy's and a side salad for a late lunch/early dinner. Chunck of cream cheese as a snack (just ate it plain...never did this before. I was staring down the inside of my fridge looking for something to get my hands on...this is the first thing that I saw that was Atkins friendly).
                        I will have to go grocery shopping in the a.m.!
