Well Here I am admitting failure once again.I was the one who posted 2 weeks ago about there being a 3rd time around club.Well is there a 4th???

    Yes I blew it!
    Again!
I should of known better to start right before xmas.I know I know its NO EXCUSE but yes I went off big time.Started last Friday making cookies for me and my other half ya know those nice lil xmas wreaths...yeah..then making tons and tons of spinach dip with Hawaian Bread for family and also for work at the group home. Then going to families house on xmas.I totally Blew it.I had finally got my will power up again and In the matter of one lil xmas wreath it was gone.I weighed myself this morning allllllllllllllllll very mad with myself and I weigh more then I did last yr before originally starting atkins when I lost 30 plus lbs.
Nothing I can do about it now whats done is done.Just very upset with myself.Well today is a new day.I know what I have to do and I will do it.
Last yr I totally quit drinking coke pretty much cold turkey. As far as smoking I have yet to do that but really havent tried. My first goal is to drop about 80 lbs by October 2007.If anyone has any pointers for a Atkins 4 try memeber pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee feel free to pass them to me.
And one thing I have troubles with is stickin to TWOL being short on finances. That makes it a lil rough.I guess that means lots of eggs and lots of veggies.I know I just need to get the ball rolling AGAIN.Usually after the first week of starting I get my will power back up then something happens and I lose it.Not this time.Ok well Enough about my failiing again time to go do something about it.Thanks to all for letting me vent.
    Happy Holidays to Everyone!

These goals maybe pushing it but I am gonna give it my all.

kram--glad you're back on the wagon! I'm also commending you for being honest, reporting your fall off the wagon, and admitting what you did--I think people have a tendency to just disappear for a few months around here, rather than admitting a mistake.

As for words of advice...I don't know. If I see something to eat like cookies or bread or candies that aren't atkins-friendly, I just tell myself firmly I CAN'T have them. Almost like they're POISONED. I tell myself, if I eat just one, I will become ill. I don't know...it seems kind of stupid when I see it typed on the screen...LOL...but it works for me. Almost too well...it's really a legitimate fear I have now. I would hate hate hate for me to eat something and for it to make me sick or screw up my body.

Don't knock eggs--I eat them everyday! Some days during induction, I'd eat an omelette for breakfast, salad for lunch, and an omelette for dinner! Eggs are a perfect food, and they're cheap, and taste great. What are your thoughts on canned tuna or chicken? I don't like to spend lots of $$ on food either, so I will always check for sales on chicken, beef, etc. I buy a LOT and then freeze it. I find that if I put the frozen stuff in a gallon bag, let it marinate for 2 or 3 days with italian dressing or some other marinade, it tastes like fresh and you'd never know it was frozen.

Glad you're back kram, and happy holidays to you, too!

Come on, Kram, we're here for you! Keep trying! Get through the first week -- I know it's the hardest part. As soon as your clothes start getting a little loose, you'll have better willpower. And, eat those eggs if your finances are tight. Salad fixings are cheap, and ground beef is probably the cheapest of your meat choices. Go through the recipes on this board, plus there are also links to other recipe sites. There's a lot you can do with ground beef, and also a lot you can do with chicken. Worst case scenario, hamburger patties with a slice of cheese melted on top. I actually love those.

Good luck -- check in here a lot -- it will help you to stay focused.

Ok Kram, as hard as it may seem, it's time to get really focused and go for it! Time to tie the little addict inside up and take control of your eating and drinking and exercise habits. You have to strap on the mindset that "you've got to take control back".
Everybody would agree it's the hardest thing and not allow yourself to give in to the foods is also just bout impossible...but it can be done!
