    Day 3 here 2nd time around. Induction flu seems to have peaked (I HOPE). I have decided not to weigh myself and just let my clothes guide me. One reason for this is my scale is not accurate, the other is the numbers freak me out. Especially when I think I 'should' have lost more than I actually did. I have jeans ranging from size 2 to 12. Now I know the 2 will probably never see the light of day again and that is okay. But I will be able to keep track of my success as I go down in jeans sizes. Then one day when I feel I can step on a scale and not let it freak me out I will.

    Smart! I weigh everymorning. I am an addict! BAD BAD BAD! It's funny how i can be so strong to eat what i am supposed to and not cheat, but i am so weak that i have to get on the dang scale every morning. I can't fight it so i have accepted it. HAHAHAHA

      I'm glad you're going to base success off of how you look and feel rather than just a number! I WOULD suggest that weighing yourself at the end of induction--that way you can figure out your level of metabolic resistance--meaning how easily your body loses weight--and it will help you gauge your estimated CCLL (Critical Carbohydrate Level for Losing.) This way you'll have an idea of how many grams of carbs per day you'll be able to add back in!

      Other than that, YAYYYYYYYY do NOT be ruled by the scale!

        I was planning to weigh myself at my gym (I hate that scale, I think it lies! ) and then go from there. My original weigh in number is from my very user friendly but totally innaccurate scale. But since I will be hitting the gym regularly once again I may as well use that scale. But I will only use it the one time after induction (because I think it lies). I know my home scale lies but at least it does it in a more friendly way. Oh and I am due for an annual exam at my doctors next month and that scale does not lie at all so I know I need to lose some weight before I step on that one. It can be devastating...

          Welcome Lucky D, congrats on not weighing, especially if it messes up your mind! YOU don't need that in the middle of all of this! it's tough enough!!!
