  • Why do we do these things to ourselves?

It is official: I am now a member of the elite STACers!

    Here is my sob story:

I did really well for the first 4 1/2 months of this journey. I was very meticulous in checking every label and only eating precise portions, and then IT happened... I got LAZY, because (now I need everyone to grab some cheese and a violin to go with my whine) I was working one full time job, two part time jobs, three classes at college, and taking care of a family. Well, cry me a river. It is no excuse for me to let go of what I have worked so hard for. I felt nasty, tired, bloated, and all of those other wonderful things that I read about everyone going through. You think that would have been enough for me to know it, huh? But, no... Jessica had to experience those fun things for herself.

Well at least you now know why I am here starting over at step one.

Welcome me back guys and girls because it is on. It is 2007 and a new year for me and anyone else willing to work their butt's off to achieve fantastic results.

hey angel, welcome back...I completely understand about it being too much on top of all the other. I suspect you will find yourself in this place again, a new quarter of school is just beginning...Maybe you have classes coming up and the jobs cranking back up...
Unfortunately with Atkins "it's work that has to be done"...it's a specific diet with specific components, as most are...Conveinence (sp) is a low carb word I think!
I've got a lot of plates spinning myself, so I know what you are saying!
By the end of this week, you should be just flying with enthusiasm.

Welcome back to it Jessica. Today is a new day, don't look backwards only forward. Sounds like you just need to do a little more planning. Maybe get into a habit of making convenience foods ahead of time on the weekends so that when you are busy, you have options to grab and go.

Take the excuses out of your way. I have to take my excuses out of the equation...they are no longer an option for me.
