Morning all! Hope its not bad if I start this in the mornings. Last night I was hesitant to go to the Y, thought laxies were working, still not, may have to go to the Dr. Afraid this will never leave me. I worked out for 55 minutes there. Didnt do any weights because I have to go through their training for it. I did feel much better. Im thinking my loss is slow due to the new information some of us gained on soda. Plus Im all swelled up. I was thinking a soda was one carb, and some people have mentioned there was like 2 sweetners in each can. so that leaves me with about .5 a can a day if I have coffee. Im still trying to get off that too. Water is my other biggee. I can get 64 oz. in, but I guess I just dont drink too much and its hard to force myself to drink. So, I guess Im just expecting my weight to just drop off, and I dont think its gonna this time. But Ill keep trudging on, doing things that will make me better, and whatever happends, happens.

Hope you start feeling better schellie!
Today is day 4 for me. Still going strong, though I desperately need to do some grocery shopping tomorrow. I'm finding myself hungry mid-morning and mid-afternoon at work. I don't want to break down and indulge in the office chocolate. I'm also starting to battle my previous issue about - what to eat for breakfast? Breakfast is the most difficult for me. I'm not a big eggs and bacon person and keeping dinner leftovers in the house isn't good for DH and his weight battles. But I'm pushing forward and compiling my grocery list. We have lots of meat at home which is a good thing.

Sarah1341, I had that problem in the past of the breakfast blahs, but folks convinced me to eat whatever I wanted for breakfast. I had veggies and dip first thing today. I was going to have an omelette with crab, but I decided to save the crab for dinner and have chicken oscar. I will have my leftover pork country ribs for breakfast instead. Eat your leftovers, or whatever you want! I like leftovers especially because it means I don't have to cook breakfast : )

Yeah, as far as breakfast goes, eat whatever Atkins-acceptable stuff you want! A nice breakfast treat on cold mornings is warm pumpkin mixed with cream cheese and a bit of cinnamon. Or sometimes I'll eat pepperoni and green peppers with a piece of mozzarella. Or leftover chicken breast with celery sticks.
Well today seems to be going well. Yesterday I was only at 22g (that's a big decrease) and I have a headache today...wondering if it's "induction flu" or not. But the headache isn't nearly as severe as induction flu was! I'm drinking my water, and I'm excited to go work out tonight...I'm also happy that tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! YAY!

hi stac members, today is day 4 for me and im doing pretty good, i think my cravings are gone yay!!!! the first day was the hardest if you ask me, i wanted to give in so bad but that is behind me and im glad i did not. Anyway i just wanted to post and say hi, i just joined this thread today as this is my 4th time trying atkins.

Mornin' everyone, old and new =). I had a porkchop and cauliflower "rice" for breakfast today, hehe. I do go through a lot of eggs normally, but this week I've been burnt out on cooking anything more than I have to when I still have leftovers to work on. I'm going to wait about an hour then hit the gym again today, yay. Im gonna check in too.
Im on day 3 - and have a headache thats kicking my butt.
Thats okay though - Im willing to have the headache to look like a hot tamale, soon enough, right?
Dinner last night, and lunch today was chicken sausage sauteed with broccoli, cauliflower, garlic and onions. Oh, and butter!
Man - I was down 65!!!! pounds my first time around!!! Why did I stop???????

Today I am one week completely caffiene free. I think about how just one sip of coffee now could undo all the suffering I went through to get here. Kicking the caffiene was my biggest obstacle. I am still a little spacey in the morning but after I eat breakfast I am fine.

Hey all!
Day three for me. The headache this morning was killer! But it's gone and I'm starting to feel psyched. The best thing about committing to this again is the rush I get from doing something for me. I generally work ridiculous hours and don't get nearly enough just me time. I feel like I have potential galore! I have to start incorporating workouts into my schedule, this weekend is my thought so I'll have at least two days of remembering what it feels like to use those parts of my body that I've neglected for too long. Back to work!

Hiya STACers! Happy new year to everyone!
haven't been checking in recently but that isn't because I've fallen off the wagon. I've just been out and about, travelling and the like. I haven't lost any weight in december though, I think I've been eating more carbs than I should because of all the holiday stuff. All legal, but just way too many of them.
So, that's my story! I usually eat a string cheese for breakfast myself, but I've never been much of a breakfast person. I also wake up late. :P
Bloated like a puffer fish today, and going on a trip tomorrow. I bet any amount of money I get TOM tomorrow. On the plane. Whattya want to bet?Female
