my lesson i learned how important planning is, today i thought i was doing good until i just entered it all into fitday, which i usually do at the beginning of the day and not after i done ate what i ate, i went over by 4 carbs and i might have went over more than that, here is my menu for today
bfast-3 scrambled eggs, 3 turkey sausage links, cup of coffee with splenda and heavy cream
lunch-me and hubby went to this place where i live called johnnys new york style pizza where they advertise low carb pizza which basically they just put all your toppings in a bowl, so anyway i ordered one slice of there meaty pizza and a small chef salad, with oil and vinegar as my dressing, it was all pretty good but i think they call it low carb because it has no crust but im sure the pizza sauce has some sugar in it, next time i will order it without the marinara.
snack- which i never do one but i started my dinner late and got a little hungry so i made one of those flax meal muffins in a cup not sure if any of you have heard of it but it has only 2.7 net carbs and they are pretty good.
dinner- deep fried green beans, and about 8ounces of pork country ribs that i baked.
my calories was 2101 with fat at 66%, protein at 30% and carbs at 4% but i went over my net carbs for today.
so i know what i need to do from this point forward is always plan my meals the night before or first thing in the morning!!! im not going to feel all guilty here which i have a bad tendency to do im just going to move on, because i have been doing really good. i just wanted to share this with all of you, it made me feel better already lol

Lisa, without knowing exactly how many carbs were in your pizza bowl, I can't really tell how much you went over...nor can I see if you are deducting fiber. Net carbs is total carbs MINUS the fiber. Otherwise, you know where you went wrong and you can fix it. And that's what this is all about. Pizza sauces usually do have some sugar added to them, but I think it's really cool you can go to a place and get your toppings in a bowl.

Next time, have them put peppers, mushrooms, olives, fresh tomato in your bowl in addition to the meat. Yummy!!!
