    Hi everyone, oh my it is almost 11:30 in the morning and i just knew someone would have started this thread this morning but it must mean that i was meant to do it so here i am. I hope everyone is doing well this morning, me im doing pretty good, i had a pretty bad night though, i made a brocolli crunch salad and it was so good i just kept eating it through the night, will not make that again no time soon. I also just found out that those flax muffins are not allowed on induction i dont know but i could have thought i read somewhere that they were. I have had 3 of those in these two weeks that are almost over, but i plan on doing an extended induction and go another two weeks, which i plan on getting my butt in gear and excercise starting today, me and my family are going over here to this mtn by my house and walk about 3 miles so today is my day to get it going.

    Lisa--thanks for starting the thread! Weekends are a little vacant around here...

    I just had a delicious breakfast (breakfast flaxwrap) and in about 1/2 hour, I'll be heading out to the gym to do some weights and a bit of running.

    I am hoping to accomplish some housework today. I say that EVERY Saturday, and rarely do it. I just feel like this is my day to veg and why should I do ANY work?

    Lisa--flax is legal on induction ONLY if you are having constipation issues. If your bowels are fine, wait until rung 3, as flax is a seed. There are also many recipes for flax muffins, some are induction friendly, some are NOT. I LOVE flax! It's very addictive!

      Morning everyone. It's soooo cold today, I kept waking up with my nose frozen, lol. I'm getting my butt organized and I'll be doing my workout video today. I'm starting a logging journal to keep track of how much exercising I'm doing each week so I can make sure I'm meeting the goals I've got set now. I was pretty intimidated by 3 hours of cardio and 400 crunches a week but when you divide it up it's not so scary, I even hope to surpass those goals pretty quickly. My bf will probably be gone all day, so I'll have plenty of time to get my stuff ready and exercise with no one around, haha. Hope everyone else is up to good things today too =).

        Hi guys! I'm doing pretty good today. Yesterday, I didn't get enough carbs in and it was because I didn't get enough veggies in because I went out for lunch and ended up with an omelette when I usually have a salad for lunch. At the end of the day, I wasn't even hungry so I didn't force myself to eat.

        Today, though, I already had a great salad for lunch and I'm heading off to the gym now. They closed on me last night so I didn't get my weight lifting in.

        We are having turkey burgers tonight!

          Hi everyone...

          It poured and poured here in Ontario and so I didn't walk either last night. I woke up so swollen this am and that would because of all the pop(diet) I have been drinking. I really need to ease off that stuff.

            Hi all~ It's warm here but the sun is hiding so it feels pretty "blah" - I loathe gray days! Add to that that I have a raging maxillary sinus infection and I don't want to do anything but sit around...and I really need to be cleaning house. I have been trying to avoid starting antibiotics, but I finally sent hubby to drop off the prescription...I can't even bend over because of the pressure in my head/face. Oh well, I will just have to hope that the meds don't mess with the last few days of induction. Monday is day 14 for me and I am very excited about that. I have been weighing in every morning, but won't be counting anything as official until I am through the whole 14 days but I am pretty pumped thus far.
            My appetite is hampered not only by ketosis, but also by this throbbing sinus crud. But, I am doing my best not to let that throw me off course...I had my leftover tuna salad from yesterday's lunch for breakfast and DH made chicken salad for lunch - I only ate about 1/2 of my share but that was plenty. I've got the kettle on so I can drink a cup of hot green tea. That seems to be a bit soothing for my face at least while I am drinking it I have new york strips thawing for dinner but at the moment that doesn't sound the slightest bit appetizing.

              Happy Saturday everyone,
              this is cleaning day in my house too, but I think we may postpone until tomorrow. No one is in the mood. Went to the gym this morning and my knee was not giving me too many problems. The gym is having its annual 3 month weight loss contest starting in Feb. I already have a running start so I am thinking of joining the challenge. Top prize is $750!!! But I wouldnt do it for that. Just to have some general competition might be a way to really stay focused.

                  Just got home from volunteering at my local habitat for humanity. I am so tired. Time to relax! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Hey Lucky D, we are the same weight and have almost the same goal weight. I'd like to be at 115... ;-)

                    I used to be 114lbs for a good portion of my life. Not dieting, but just being active kept me there. I would love love love to see that weight again, but it is just not realistic for me anymore. I am older and my body has changed, and things have shifted . WHEN I get to 120 I will see if it is possible to lose anymore if I think I need to. But chances are thats where my body is going to stick at if I keep this up, which I will.

                      Hey Gang!

                      Saturday...hmm. Everything is going great, but I have the worst time being motivated to get some exercise in on the weekend. I put it off and off, until I finally just tell myself to get off my duff and do something. So I did at about 4:30. My old pal Billy Blanks, then I promptly napped for about 15 minutes. Couldn't do it this morning wasn't good because I took my nieces (the 3 eldest of 4 sisters-my brother so deserves this) to the museum for the dino exhibit. So overall, great day. See you tomorrow!
