  • I',m Baaaack

    Hi All,
I was a very successful loser and exerciser, and to make a long story short, I gained it all back and have had a few false starts trying to get back on. I am disgusted with myself, but I know I only have myself to blame. Enough with the past and on to the future. I am back on induction today and leaving to go to supermarket to load up on induction friendly foods. I am hoping to reconnect with some old friends and make some new friends that are willing to swap help ideas and support each other. This board was a savior to me the first time and I want to stay committed to changing my life back to the way it used to be. I will be reading posts and catching up and hope to hear from you!

      Thanks Jamie,
I got cheese, meat, chicken, lots of good veggies for salad, eggs(of course), olives, some salad dressing, etc. I'm gonna do it this time!

Bonnie - you are in good company here! There have been a lot of us starting back lately so we can all help each other. I started back so many times but this time is...different. And so far, it's going really well for me! I know it will for you too.

          Bonnie, welcome!

I'm a 2nd-time-around-chica too. I did Atkins a few years ago, but unfortunately, I was *too cool* to read the book or follow the rules, so of the 70lb. I had lost, I gained back 90. Yeah, pretty cool huh?

So anyway, I'm doing it right this time, and like Wonder Woman said (the one in the post above me, not that cool superhero) this time feels different! I know I'm going to be a success this time--and so will you!

Looking forward to more posts! Have a great weekened!

Hey BonnieL, welcome back! Nothing like coming back and starting something again that you know works...really works. I've been back for 5+months now, and I feel like a totally different person. For that I am probably more grateful, even above weight loss, to be in control and calm and not eating uncontrollably and off the scale emotionally well that's worth more than the weightloss.
Hang in there girl, good things are to come!
