    Yellow all,

    I have been viewing this board off an on for quite some time.

    I did "atkins" before. I put this in quotes because I believe I was not following it correctly. I managed to lose some weight, and then I went off. I have the 2002 version now, and I am almost done! I had some atinks/low carb books in the pat, and I half read it. I didn't have the 02 version at the time. I know it's recommended so I got it on amazon.

    When I went off, and binged on the unhealthy carbs, all I do is feel gross, and fat, and whatever else. Then the next day, I did the same thing?!

    After 6 days on induction - my cravings are gone, (for the most part) I don't eat as much, and my clothes fit better. Well maybe I eat as much, but not the "bad foods"

    I have snuck in more cheese and veggies however. bad bad.

    All I keep thinking is how awful I felt eatiing so many carbs (crackers, mostly) all the time.

    So today is day 6, and 5 lbs are gone. I am so serious it's not funny. I really want to wear a bikini this summer. NOt for vanity, but just to feel comfortable!

    I will be visting, and POSTING much more this time.

    P.s My bofyfriend is also doing it with me

    Good for you, im happy you have found this board and are back on plan, keep on posting and read on past post i promise you will be inspired. Also 5lbs is great I know you feel better, I felt the same way you do when I binge and that is what is keeping me from doing it again. Cant wait to hear more from you.

      Yeah those GROSS feelings can really keep us motivated from "doing it again"...

      Welcome Dew, glad you came out of lurking and into posting mode, we need all the STACers around we can get...

      What are you doing for exercise? and how much water are you able to drink in a day? I started with 120oz, and now I am closer to getting in 85-100oz. I read somewhere half your body weight in water...well my body weight has dropped!

      Glad you are reading DANDR, the book, it is soooo informative!

        Hello, thanks for the reply.

        Right now I am drinking about 100 ounces. I had to work my way up to that.

        And for excersise, I just go to curves for now.

          Congratulations on the 5 pounds! Glad you've introduced yourself and made the committment to do it for real! Make a plan for yourself so you can review it everyday. Keep active in the ADBB for support and motivation. Take your measurements and see the inches dropping. You can do this. We are all here cheering you on. Welcome to the family!
