  • Restarting this WOE

    Hi all,

Some of you probably remember me from several months back. I was doing great and shedding pounds until I fell off the wagon. I can't pinpoint one specific instance that caused me to fail...it was just a gradual change...adding back carbs here and there...and it just finally caught up to me and I realized..."hey, I'm nowhere close to following Atkins the right way!" So I said, "oh well," and started eating whatever I pleased.

Now here I am several months later back at the same weight I started. *sigh* Does it ever end? I'm so sick of yo-yo-ing back and forth in my weight.

Well I'm back to start fresh and hopefully succeed this time around. This will be not my second, but third time around! I'm going grocery shopping TODAY to pick up all the Atkins friendly food and ingredients. I look forward to being back around the board and catching up with all of you. Have a great week!

          Re: Restarting this WOE

inhisgrip - I did the same thing. Carb creep got me and for 3 years, I claimed to be doing Atkins but I wasn't doing anything like it! I ate a lot of Atkins-friendly foods and then piled non-Atkins things on top of it and claimed that I was "trying." I gained all of my weight back plus 20 lbs. This time, I am going to get the hang of OWL, pre-maintenance, and maintenance!!!

          You can do it!!!!
