  • Bad bad weekend

Well I was doing good. After dropping the 15.9 pounds on my first week. And I did good until saturday. I live in Northeasten Oklahoma where the Ice storm hit and no one has power. It's hard to follow the diet with no electric. I had to take my 2 boys and go to a friends house that had a wood stove. So any cooking we have done is off of the wood stove and my diet hasn't been very atkins friendly. Most items in the refrigarator and freezer have spoiled now. And I had just went grocery shopping because the storm was coming lol. I made it to work today we have power here. But its flake at best right now. So when the power gets restored I will climb back on and be off and running again.

It's ok, just get right back on track. Don't use this as an excuse to go off plan (like I have many times in the past!). Every now and then, something REALLY out of the ordinary is going to happen, like a snow storm, and you just work with it the best you can and get back on track after that. It's just life and this is a lifelong plan.

Still no power or water. I got a bad feeling the pipes will bust tonite because they still have water in them and there is no heat or water pressure to let them run and the tempature is suppose to drop to 0°.
