Hi!
I'm back for my third time around. (and can't seem to get the STAC banner to work on my siggy...
)
I've been doing induction for one week now. I'll be honest, I did REALLY well last time and I feel I remember how.. so I've not yet read DANDR again yet.
It's not that I won't, it's that I decided to not wait until I had time to do that again. I am going to start today probably, but we've had a rough couple of weeks with helping a friend with pneumonia and a friend who lost a family member..
So rather than waiting until I could read, I went on induction by memory.
I seem to have lost a lb or two, but that's not as much as I'd hoped for.
I know it can be slower this time around.. but still I'm hoping I just have had something I shouldn't have. The one thing that comes to mind is Heinz Sugar Free 1 carb ketchup. Not sure if that's allowable or not, and I'm going to stop having it to see if it makes a difference.
But also, my TOM is coming up soon and that might make the difference also.
So far, I'm staying motivated, and feel no desire to cheat. I had a slight cold when I started, and don't know if my headaches were the "induction flu" or just my cold.
The biggest difference I notice is I have NO hunger. I feel full all the time.
I have to remind myself to eat. What a difference from the person that was constantly looking for something.. (and never could figure out what) to satisfy some craving.
My breakfasts have been eggs and sausage, or just eggs. I have some pork rinds, cream cheese, or olives as a snack (sometimes), and have been having a salad with a small chicken breast for dinners. Or a hamburger patty with cheese. Not much diversity, but I love all of these things, so I'm absolutely fine with it for awhile.
Anyway, I'm happy to be back and to have completed one week of induction!
