  • More active dream cycles, anyone?

For the last week, I've been experiencing long and stressful dreams. I've always had nutty dreams and whatnot, but as I've gotten older, they've really simmered down.

The last few nights have been soooo stressful with them. They are not nightmares, though. Just high energy, stressful dreams where I am running around doing stuff or talking to 5 people at once or trying to accomplish tasks like superman. These dreams last a long time and seem to occur even when just falling asleep for 10 minutes after snoozing the alarm

I did get over Induction flu, it was mild in the form of a 24 hour headache, and I just got that kick of boundless energy that I remember having before. I'm thinking maybe this is just my mind moving free of carbs and sugar making my thoughts sluggish and my body tired.

Any ideas? Anyone else experience this during the hyper stage of induction? It's stressing me out and making me sleepy in the morning because I feel like I didn't get any rest.

Now that you mention it, I have noticed my dreams are much more vivid lately - that's wild, I wonder what is up with that???

I remember having them lots when I did this before...this time, though, I haven't yet - at least that I remember - although I woke up this morning feeling a little like you do after a strage/bad dream - but don't remember anything. I may be just sleeping harder because of the exercise. I think any major change you make - ood or bad - is stressful on your body and your brain - so I think that could account for some of the odd/vivid dreams. As I recall, last time around, they subsided within a couple of weeks.

I've always been a vivid dreamer, but I have noticed that my dreams have taken on a freakish, sideshow-esque quality in recent months. I have dreams I can fly, and bounce off the ground, and run for miles, all while cooking strange meals and shopping in exotic places and partying with movie stars. Perhaps it IS this WOL...

Dang, and I thought I was just becoming a more interesting person.

            Julirama--LOL.

I guess come to think of it whenever I am stressed or really excited about something I do have a lot more dreams. It has been every night. I do hope it subsides soon, I'd like to wake up feeling rested. Oh well!
