Good morning STACers
This morning during "drive time" with my daughter, a time I have capitalized on for 11 yrs. We discussed really tightening things up, to get looser clothes.
Tighten things up to get looser. I love to play with words, create slogans, tag lines, and basically get it back down to basics. So you can walk away with a few words and a big concept....It's what i do with kids, it's how I think, it's using words practically to provide motivation and direction!
Drive time was all about counting our carbs, tightening up our eating, paying attention to that feeling: Satisfied. Checkingout the carb count on a few things we were "just ingesting"...
See, we are about to be "IN" for 6 months, and I am getting a little careless and sloppy. I can feel myself not too concerned with too much, but I've gone up a pound and it's not going away...Caitlin WENT OUT OF ketosis last week...These are all signs and symptoms and a REFLECTION of us "easing things up" a bit. We are not cheating, but we are NOT PAYING ATTENTION very well. I ate a snack of a few olives, grn pepper, and sunflower seeds last night at 8, followed by some jello and a splash of cream. that part was just not needed...
I know myself fairly well these are signs of boredom, and carelessness. They are rooted in an ATTITUDE, that I might have just under the surface that I am "UNTOUCHABLE" by carbs now. I bet if I dig deep enough, I am going to find a cocky attitude, that feels unfazed, and above it all now....
SINCE I SENSE this about myself, today I am committing to GOING BACK TO BASICS, EXAMINING ALL I EAT, DRINK and EXERCISE.
I am going to tighten up, so I can stay loose in the waist!
I am sitting here wearing pants I have not had on for 7 yrs. They are out of style, and they are a bit tight in the waist, but they were my dream pants.
Sunday I wore my sisters Abercombie size 12's to church...My daughter is empting out her jean drawer and handing down things that no longer fit her!
Time to tighten things up at my end of the deal here....So I can wear loose clothes now and in the near future.
