  • Monday check IN

HI everyone, just checkin in for monday. HOpe everyone is doing well, me i had a bad yesterday with cravings but today so far so good, but it is still early lol. I did not give in to those cravings but i did eat some legal foods and probally went over in calories but that is ok im just glad i did not give in to what was going through my mind. I think this week im going to go up to 30 net carbs and just keep adding veggies, to see if im still losing at 30. Im mostly losing inches in my waist but that is what i want the most so im happy with that. In the four weeks i have lost 13lbs and 5 inches off my waist and a few inches here and there in other places but my stomach is what i want to lose the most so that is what i focus on. Well i hope you all have a great day and i will check in later to see how you all are doing!!!!

WOOOOO HOOOOO LISA! GREAT JOB on the weight and inches lost! You're doing GREAT!!!!!!!!

I'm here and accounted for...trying to get back to my normal routine after feeling like I lost some days last week with my back.

I cooked breakfast of sausage and an egg and am downing my water. Today is my scheduled "rest" day for exercise, but it is so pretty out that I think I will take a 2 mile walk once the sun has a chance to warm things up a bit - it's windy and pretty cold for these parts this morning.

    Have a great Monday everyone!!!

      Hey all!

I wanted to sleep in this morning, that's for sure! But I think it will be a good day, nonetheless. I've got a full day of teaching, then I'm going running here at school, and later on, Boot Camp class at the gym. I'm going to try to drink AT LEAST 1.5 gallons of water today--I have had problems on Tuesdays being dehydrated if I drink a gallon or less of water on Monday.

      Have a great day, guys!

Hey all! I'm here and kicking.

Heading out to work with a nice lunch and fully stocked for the week due to cooking up a storm yesterday. My boyfriend did most of it--which is a good thing, he is an excellent cook.

But I have a big week this week and lots to do. I seem to have finally gotten into the exercise groove the last two weeks, so now I must start drinking more water! Or at least some would be nice! I am sooo bad about drinking water.

I guess the problem is that right now, I'm working at a "daycare" center for brain injury folks and seniors with Alzheimer's. I know this sounds like an excuse--but it's sooo hard to make time to go to the bathroom! Constantly, we all have to force each other to go take a pee break because we are so busy. We have about 40-50 people in the program and with wanderers trying to escape, heavy care wheelchair peeps with heavy care needs, activities, lunch prep, dishes, bathrooming everyone every two hours (bathroom stalls are always full when you're taking someone and usually you have to help someone 100% while in the bathroom and can't go yourself amnyway), I can't imagine drinking water and going every half hour like I did when I was drinking water properly. But, I will make an honest attempt today to just drink at least 32 ounces and just make time for myself to go. So water bottle, here I come. Ugh!

Off to work. Have a good day!

Sounds like your doing great Lisa!!! Congrats on the inches and the pounds.

Bravo for not giving in to your cravings either. That's a hugh step!!!

I'm checking too. It will be one week tomorrow since I started Induction. Everything is going well so far. No real cravings yet. I'm in shock over that. Usually I crave sugar so much! Anything sweet. But so far - this past week it's been really easy. I hope it stays like that!

          Keep up the Good Work!!!!

            Re: Monday check IN

Good morning everybody -- I've still been sick with a bad cold that has a terrible lingering cough. I'm starting on antibiotics today, so I'm starting today with a good outlook on everything. Since I've been sick, I've done fairly well at maintaining my weight while not always eating on plan.

Today is a new beginning! I'm going to start feeling better and will be eating right!

                Great posts all!

I'm getting ready for my big February challenge (see the signatue below) and really doing quite well. I feel great, I'm looking better, and my clothes are really starting to get too big. This means shopping! Have a great week, kick some carb butt, and good luck to us all!
