Got on the scale this morning. I am down a GOOD 5 whole pounds! Yay! I knew I was losing because I could feel the difference in my pants, but that dang scale wasn't budging for the last three weeks. Then late last week it moved down 2-3 lbs and this morning, the whole 5. I am going to measure myself on Friday after two weeks and see how many inches I lost as well! Three weeks of Induction done and over with. Working out has helped immensely, I know. I still eat Induction approved foods, but over the weekend, I allowed myself a bit of popcorn and 2 small falafel patties (which are lentils), without the pita and hummous. It was nice to be able to loosen up a little, but I will make it a VERY sporadic thing. As outback jess says, you have to tighten up to loosen up! I will be very cautious of my loosening up and keep it a very minimalistic activity. I want to eat this way for life and like Atkin's said, we are all going to have a bit of pizza now and then. The trick is to learn to take control of your portions and how often.
But it's amazing how good 5 pounds lighter feels to me right now! Yay!
