I haven't tried Atkins in a few years. It worked for me before but I didn't add exercise my first and only sucessful try.

    Re: Back on induction AGAIN

Pugs! Welcome back to atkins. There are a lot of us here who are "second timers," myself included. My first time doing atkins I made the mistake of not reading the book (DANDR) and sort of made up my own rules. Which obviously didn't work! So now I'm doing it the right way and doing a heck of a lot better this time!

Exercise will make your progress even better (and it's "non-negotiable" anyway!) and I bet you'll learn to LOVE it! I really do love to exercise. Check out the challenges on the board--in a few days, there should be a post for a February Mileage challenge. Those are great--you commit to doing 25 or 50 or 100 or whatever amount of miles, and you report in each time you do some miles. It's really motivating. I've gone from doing 50 in a month to 150 in a month!

Welcome back to Atkins, and welcome to ADBB!

      Hi there!

Welcome to ADBB. This is the place for support and info, but also for getting into exercise. Have a look at the exercise challenges thread - really great for motivating you and stepping up the effort to shift the pounds.

Best of luck, see you around

A challenge is good motivation. I'll sign up as soon as I see the post. Thanks Julie!
