because unless it's homemade jello, some people react to it as the store-bought ones (unless premade in little containers) aren't made with splenda... cream cheese & splenda is another..

Dessert doesn't have to be sweetened, either. Half an avocado is a wonderful treat for after a meal.

Knox gelatin and Diet Rite soda...make your own whipped cream.

Flaxmeal muffins usually do the trick as well.

              Eventually cheesecake....

Re: First day Back on Atkins-Need induction friendly desert

I looked up the flax seed muffins but read in a post that they aren't induction friendly. I want a clean induction but I also know from that past that I get constipated on induction and flax helps me out.

                Help please

Re: First day Back on Atkins-Need induction friendly desert

Well, the problem is that not even gelatin is on the induction allowed foods list.

Flax muffins are fine-and induction legal- so long as the portions are appropriate.

Re: First day Back on Atkins-Need induction friendly desert

Thank you Brook. Hubby just went to the store to get the items we are missing to make the muffins. Every morning one of us is rushing to get out the door and usually without breakfast. This muffin will take care of that and help me out, if you know what I mean.

I really want to do a clean induction. I'm keeping track of my foods on Fitday so I'll be sure to keep the muffin portions appropriate.

My first time on Atkins I got down to 120 but didn't follow OWL and you can guess what happened. My second time I think I ate too much cheese and other allowable but high carb items and didn't lose much at all and was discouraged. This time I want to give it a good go again, like my first time, but this time following all the way through.

                    Thanks again for your post.
