    Hey STACERs, I was so inspired to read about "I_LOVE_PUGS" how she beat the sugar monster!!! She gained control over herself, and her choices. She might have wrestled like most of us do, but she made it. She came here to celebrate and was met by much support!!!

    Keep it up PUGS, keep it up STACers IT ALL COUNTS, as we regain respect for ourselves and control over our relationship with food. Control that water, get it in!!! Control your exercise, make it happen regardless!!!!!

    If you have messed up, dust yourself off, learn from your mistake and keep gaining that control as you loose your weight. The biggest moment after a bad choice or a crash or a binge IS WHAT YOU DO NEXT, ADD TO IT, OR STOP AND RETURN TO ATKINS. Get back on track, and face your issues...

    Yesterday I overate some ribs. An hour after I had finished the ribs I felt a noticable difference, my stomach was upset, my waistband was tight and my still fat stomach was bulging over my waistband...this was nothing I have not experieced before, matter a fact I use to experience some of it every single day...but I wore elastic waist bands then...
    The uncomfortable feeling increased into my soul. This is only the second time I indulged and just allowed myself extra meat. the gastro uncomfortable feelings lasted all evening. I am so glad they did, I am so glad I was easily reminded of where I was and where I am now and how i don't want that feeling again!!!

    Hey, keep the power, keep the plans together and NAIL em, wrestle for those clean days, strong days, self-respect...get on with living the bigger picture!!!

    Good Morning everyone, i felt the same way you did last night jess, i ate pork steak and even though i had just one it was huge and i felt like i probally could have stopped half way through the steak but i just kept eating it and felt the effects of it afterwards, and i hate that feeling just to be so bloated. I move up to 30 net carbs this week and im just going to stay here for about 2-3 weeks to see what happens, im not going to move up in rungs yet even if i go up 5 more im just going to keep adding veggies since im having so much fun trying new recipes and loving them all at the same time. This week im going to try spaghetti squash and im going to give eggplant another go, the first time i made it i did not like it but i stuffed it so im not sure if it was the eggplant or the mixture i put in it so im going to try roasting it i think.

    Well i hope you all have a blessed day!! I was praying for some wintery weather my way but all i got was rain so the kids had to go to school and im going in to help my dad today so i will check in later!!!

      Lisa, I wanted to rep you for trying different methods of preparation for your veggies before giving them the boot! However, i have to spread some more reputation around first

      Today I had to get out of the house early because construction workers were there to work on my drive way. So, I made myself a protein shake for breakfast and had some jicama with it. I put some heavy cream, but I don't think it will be as high fat as I normally would have at breakfast. We'll see how long it stays with me. In the meantime, I brought a lovely lunch of leftover squash/snowpeas/mushrooms and steak and chicken that my DH has cooked this week for dinners. Yum. I also brought my workout clothes and plan to go over to the gym at lunch time for some weight lifting. I need to take a break on running...or only run a short distance.

        Hey all!

        I'm quite pleased this morning...I'm down 7.5lb. this month and completed my no-weigh challenge for January! I didn't think it would be possible to do this plan right without the reinforcement of the scale...but I proved myself wrong, and gave myself a boost of confidence. I CAN do this! I CAN trust my body and what it says! All I need to do is listen carefully, and my body will tell me if I'm successful, not the scale.

          I'm here! Slow starting this morning - 2 hour school delay - which worked out to be worse weather-wise than normal time...and it snowed for a while about 8 - so naturally the kids were crossing fingers and toes and the dog's paws hoping the delay would be changed to a cancellation...no dice...so we drove to school in the rain and slush...don't get much of that here and almost NO ONE drives any differently than when it is 70 and sunny No wonder there were about a dozen wrecks this morning on this side of the county alone.

          So, now that that kids are safely at school - I am sitting down with my journal and firming up my goals for the month and taking stock of my progress for January. I'll be hopping over to join a challenge as well.

            I'm here! Yesterday was day off so I did lots of errands and shopping.

            My gazelle is calling me! Let me go fire that thing up! Food is okay... though need to work on getting all the veggies in! GRRRR...

              Rachel, way to go on the exercise! Girl you are all fired up and back on the boards...it's only going to help you get to where you want to go...It's gonna be amazing when you hit goal, because I just know you are going to...So, girl on my birthday, March 14th, when I turn 50, how bout you post a picture of YOU...what a nice present that would be.

              I want to be here on my birthday and I want to weigh in the 150's. March 27th we are going around stone mtn and up it too, it will be our own "IronGirl"...challenge.
              Bonnie my neighbor is going too. Cailtin is freaked a little cause it is 5 miles around it, but hey we run 5 on Sat and she is doing it on Tues too...

                hey all!
                julirama --congratulations on the weight loss! That must feel sooo good. I think I'm going to do a no weigh challenge for the month of February myself. I'm sick of the scale.

                I am checking in to proudly report that as of yesterday, I am officially a licensed cosmetologist!!! YAY!!! Soooo glad that's all over with! I am going to check out a salon to begin an internship and there are also other happy opportunities I will share with y'all when the time is right.

                As for my body, I'm getting really frustrated these last couple of days! I'm going to make it a new thread having to do with February's goals and I can explain it all there. Hope to hear some of yours!

                Today, I already worked out and am struggling with drinking enough water. Just eating right and doing right and all is well. Lots of excitement around here due to my licensure and passing the exam and I just got my hair cut so I will go and mess with it.

                  Good morning everyone and way to go.

                  What a great day for me. Day 3 of a clean induction. The scale hasn't moved much but I slipped into jeans that were tight last Monday and my "muffin top" has shrunk by at least half. I feel great, hubby, who is going along on this journey with me, is feeling great and he lost 5 pounds!

                  The sugar monster was whispering in both our ears last night but since we are in this together we helped each other resist. I also thought of posts I have received from some of you in the past few days and it helped immensly.

                  I'm thankful for this board and all you wonderful people. I look forward to returning the support.
