I've got to take my physical today.. ugh!!

I've got a new job offer and must take a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen today. I'm not looking forward to explaining why I'm back on BP meds and have gained 50 pounds since my last physical..

I'm pretty ashamed of myself...

Ugh. That sucks. My DH just went for a physical and his chol is through the roof and he has gained quite a bit of weight. My chol was up two years ago and I didn't want to have to go on meds so I started exercising even more and watching the processed meats and upping my veggies and now my chol is great! I think he is pretty motivated to get his down too. Maybe you can look at it as an opportunity? It sucks seeing that you are 50 lbs heavier than at your last physical (I know from personal experience!) but as long as you are making changes, you can feel good about that.

Well, I passed with a conditional fed med card.. I have to get a recert every year now, so hopefully by next year, all of my facts and figures will be a lot better.
