It actually took me a while to gather the courage to come back … well, here I am – AGAIN!!!
The short version of my “fat life”: I had my first son and gained 30 kg’s. Lost about 20kg’s and 8 years later had my second son and also gained 30 kg’s.
In desperation (and after numerous unsuccessful diet attempts) I’ve started on the Atkins diet and joined ADBB. Success at last!! It went very well – lost 12kg. Then I had this stupid idea that I can do this on my own – what a joke!!!!!
I’ve also quit my job about 6 months ago to become a stay-at-home mom, and the fridge has been attacking me ever since (LOL).
Since I left my ADBB family in February 2006, the lost 12 kg’s found their way home and brought a few friends with!!!
So, to come to the most logic conclusion – no woman (man) is an island!!! You need encouragement and people around you (even if it is on the net).
OK, so I’m back and even more determined to loose my fat self and become the person I am meant to be. I know this is not an overnight solution, but a change for life.
I have to loose this weigh, because my body cannot keep up anymore (pains in my legs, lower back, feet, etc). My goal is to be thin before I turn 40. It gives me 3 ½ years, but hopefully I will reach goal weight before then.
Whish me luck, lots of advice and encouragement!

PS: My commitments:
- To exercise 4 times a week.
- To drink at least 2l+ water a day
- To keep a weekly journal to document my progress

...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..." 




. But that was not the problem .... I think you all know - CAKE!!!!
