Hey every one...How are we all doing? Seems rather quiet here...It's pretty cold in the south! We exercised at our clubhouse, and are in that afterglow of endorphine high! Lovely feelings...

Re: Sat check in 2/17
It *IS* rather quiet here today! It's a warm day here in MT (in the 40s) and the sun is shining! I went to the gym and accomplished a lot of miles and an intense strength training workout. I'm surprised I had the energy to do it!
My goal today is to drink over a gallon of water. I've been dehydrated the past couple of days, and I have done strength training the past two days as well. I need to re-hydrate my body!

Re: Sat check in 2/17
Well it's not Saturday anymore....but I'm here Jess! I'm like Julia....need to get that water intake back up and detox my system! Got up this morning and did some light exercise, starting that back up too. I'm in the midwest and it's been brrrrrrrrrrrrr cold. Think I'll get the old exercise bike out of storage and start that up a 1/2 hour each night too. Hope you had a nice weekend.

Re: Sat check in 2/17
I am not feeling too great these days, so I haven't been around much. I haven't been able to work out because of the foot thing, and I just got my first MP3 player for working out and I can't use it! So I've been a little depressed, actually. Not motivated, annoyed with the WOE more often than I should be. Trying hard to focus, think positive thoughts, imagine my results to make them a reality.
I've got a harsh case of spring fever, too--and that is certainly not helping. But, good news this weekend....I rent a two and a half bedroom garden unit apartment and I love the apartment but H-A-T-E the floor in my kitchen. I am sick of my landlord's empty promises to replace it. It's this "white" sticky linoleum tile stuff that is so old cheap and porous that there is nothing that will stop the ugly, black, smeary build up from foot traffic. Also deep scratches and ugly stains never to be gotten rid of.
I happened to be in the dollar store and noticed they just got this whole shipment in of those linoleum sticky tiles. I've never been a fan of them, especially seeing how that's what I have that I hate so much. But they had some really cool designs. Then I noticed "wood" celtic design one and they are only $1 for a pack. That's $.33 per square yard! So for about $40.00, I can get myself some peace of mind and just do this myself and love my kitchen for once! Everything else is so cute except for that fugly floor! Isn't it nice when you get a lightbulb about something like that?
Sometimes, all it takes to feel better is finally buying a little something to make your life easier. A make-up organizer, a closet organizer, a few shelves, a new rug or picture for the wall. Those little things that aren't necessities, but do they ever make things look and feel nicer! So I sort of had an epiphany about this-- what a pick me up this is going to be, sort of mad that I didn't do this for myself sooner. None of us like to make improvements on someone else's property, but hey....if it's only $40.00 and it will make you feel like a million bucks, why not? I decided to try to think of all the other little things that I could do like this that will pick me up immensely! Take the focus off of *other* things, y'all know what I mean!
I just need to keep busy until I fix my foot in a few more weeks. Do weight training, stop being scared of it!
Take care, everyone, I'm off to work on my floor!Felicia
