  • Let's Share our Mini Goals

    Okay, I love hearing how everyone's life is going and what they are doing to reach those little goals, so please share what yours is/are, and if and how you reward yourself...

    Mine? Well, I really want to hit 250 by Memorial Day Weekend. That will be our first big boating weekend, and I just have 24 pounds to go. Wow, my life vest may be too big by then!

    However, I can wait to be out of the 270's and into the 260's!

    My reward for 250? A new shirt and piece of Jewelry...I love fashion, I swear I am a runway model in the wrong body! Oh, and the jewelry, I sell it and love it, so I will order a new piece to go along with my new shirt!

    Can't wait to hear yours!

    My mini goal is to keep walking 2 miles a day, 7 days a week in order to get close to my over all goal as possible by Memorial Day. It's a long stretch by far with my track record of losing weight, but I figured what the heck. Might as well set the bar high and go for the gold. However, reality is I'd like to lose 5 pounds a month steady and keep the pace of walking the same if not more.

    My reward? Well, besides feeling great, energetic, and have less mood swings because of high carbs running through my veins...I'm planning on buying new clothes for a vacation to the coast. I already have my swim suit for doing laps at the local pool, but I'd like it to be too big by the time we go on vacation in June or July so I have to buy another one.

      Thanks for this great thread! My mini goal is to proceed onto OWL. I'm nervous because my last success with this WOE is I lost down to my goal on induction and then proceeded to do my own thing which lead to gaining back the weight I lost plus adding about 10 pounds to boot. SOOO...

      By this time March I want to be on rung 4 of OWL, be running again 3X/week, cardio and strength training the other 3 days, be down 5 more lbs, and go to Victoria's Secret and buy some bras that fit me well.

        My mini goal is to loose 30 lbs by memorial day, I am down 9 lbs so far but it took me 6 weeks to get there, mostly I am sure if because of my basically sedentry lifestyle, but I have been getting up and moving a little bit more every day.

          I really want to see the 160's .....it's been 15 years since I have seen the 160's....my reward will be some motorcycle gear....springs coming!

            we have a few trips planned this spring/summer.
            SD for my b/day...meeting up with friends I haven't seen since oct and I want them to say, "OMG..look at you girl..looking all good for your b/day..." and then we am going to Hawaii in June and I want to wear a swimsuit and not a swimsuit with shorts and a shirt over it...

              I would love to break 200 before Memorial Day, that would be 41 pounds, tomorrow is weight day...it's a start. I'm actually pretty psyched for this one...

              I'm a musician and Memorial Day starts the busiest time of year for me until September! Gotta look good up on stage!

                my mini is to make the 14 days without a cheat...throw in some exercise while i'm not cheating...and be down to 140....

                  My first goal is to fit into some of my prepregnancy clothes!!! I have a ways to go before I get there though, probably 40-50 pounds.

                    My mini-goal is to be in a size 8 jeans by the end of March. If I can accomplish that then I will reward myself with a new top from my favorite boutique.

                      holy cow! I got back up to 246 after being gone to carbland for a month. Ew!!!! I want to get back to 238 which is where I was at when I fell off the wagon. I am on board again and firmly seated. Wish me luck!! Love y'all!!

                        Great thread!

                        My next and nearest minigoal is to be in ONEderland by my 5-year anniversary (of being with my bf) March 14. I have 3.5 pounds to go!

                        I would like to lose about 5 pounds a month, but I'm not sure if that will happen. My main goal is to be AT goal (and I'm thinking about changing my goal to 160? AHHH!) by 2008. I know my weight loss will slow, so I'm giving myself ample time to get there.

                          My first mini goal is to get as close as I can to 305 by march 8th, that will be my 1 month on atkins, 42 pounds in a month sounds impossible to me, but whatever I get at I will be very pleased with.
