    I'm doing fine. Haven't lost in a week but I can tell I'm shrinking. I'm slowly adding carbs back every day to inch up to the 5 for the first rung of OWL. My hope is the added carbs will give me what I need to run again. The lower carbs of induction make my legs heavy and not want to go.

    I'm taking OWL super slow as I blew it during my last Atkins success and want this time to stick!

    Karyn, thanks for starting the check-in thread!

    It's very wise to take OWL slowly! Go at the speed that's best for you, so you can find out what foods are good for your body, and what foods you should stay away from.

    I'm feeling good today. I'm on plan, drinking my water, and ready for the rest of the day. I'm glad it's Wednesday...it's that much closer to Friday! I'm ready for summer vacation already...I'm soooo sick of winter.

      I'm going alright. I'll find out how the week has gone on Saturday, but I don't think it will be a big result. I think I've been having reactions to cheese (candida possibly), so painful as it is, I'm going to try go a whole month with no cheese. But on the big plus side, I joined the gym a week and a half ago, and I find myself eagerly looking forward to it.

      Also, we had donut day at work today, and they were kinda tempting, but I was good. Looking forward to my ham and salad lunch!

        I was doing good earlier today, but I think I overdid it and my lower back is killing me which in turn causes my hip to ache - messed up SI joint, when one thing in that area goes, it all goes!

        Foodwise, I did good. I'm craving a little though, but that's my before bedtime munchie thing I'm trying to ignore.

        And this may sound silly, but can pain cause you to retain water? My legs are feeling pretty bloated right now and I can't think of anything else that would be causing it. I've been eating pretty clean for a few days.
