  • TGIF! Friday 3/2 check in

    Well, one goal half met I'm up at 5:00am to exercise. I'm eating my first yogurt in months to stave off hunger during my treadmill workout. AND I'm drinking water!! Mini goals being met all over the place!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How is your Firday? What's planned for the weekend??

    Morning Karyn. I've had 64 ounces of water already this morning. Breakfast was a ricotta dessert my aunt made and brought to me last night. George Stella's breadless bread pudding. EXCELLENT! And 2 fried eggs. For lunch I've got a light salad with pork, spinach, feta, cucumber, olives, pepper, cucumber. Yum. Dinner is going to be chicken and yellow cauli-rice. Yum.

    I'm going to go running after work tonight.

      I'm drinking my water, I had my breakfast, and now I'm just mentally preparing to go do hallway duty. (FRIDAYS are the WORST!) Today is a happy day, I weighed in, and reached my 3rd minigoal 2 weeks early! I am in ONEderland! I'm planning on going to the gym after work, going to do some running and strength training.

        CONGRATS EVERYONE!! You guys are doing so awesome!! This is an awesome way to start the weekend!

        I've eaten breakfast, gotten in 64 ounces of water, but I'm feeling a little under the weather. I feel sort of light and gauzy headed with no energy. Not sure what's wrong--just not feeling very ketosis-y! Hopefully it's just late onset induction flu and will pass...!
        BUT tonight is ladies night. Can't wait to get out of work and dance off some pounds! Hopefully I'll run into the wooshie fairy in the city... ;D

          Happy Friday All!

          For breakfast I had a hamburger with laughing cow cheese, for lunch I am eating a hamburger with mayo (in a little rut). Not sure what we are doing for dinner yet. We may go out to eat. Ruby Tuesday has really good turkey burgers...

          THe weather tomorrow is suppose to be nice so we may go to the zoo.

            Hello everybody...first off....JULIRAMA.....Welcome to onederland!Congratulations!

            Okay, breakfast, 3 oz pork cutlet, 2 eggs friend in a little infused garlic olive oil, 4 broccoli flowerets. 74 ounces of water.

            Lunch, 3 oz pork cutlet, spinach salad, touch of cucumber, couple fresh mushrooms, 1 oz crumbled cheese, tossed in my ows Scooter's oil/vinegar (original huh?) dressing. and so far another 37 ounces of water for a whopping 111 ounces so far.

            hmmm..I didn't do my exercises this morning. need to do that tonight.

            Ah...life is good isn't it! For the weekend, playing out tomorrow afternoon and it's home life with the lovely wife tomorrow night, and all day Sunday. Probably work in the recording studio a bit this evening. Myabe we'll catch up on a movie or two, supposed to be blah weather here in Indy.

              Well, I guess this is a Monday check in now, but:
              I went through my Saturday ritual of getting up relatively early (9am), eating breakfast, tape measuring myself, then weighing myself at the chemist/drug store on the way to the gym (I don't have any scales in the house). I lost another 2kg/4.5lb over the week, bringing my total to 10kg/22lb in 5.5 weeks. Yey! 1/4 of the way there. Interestingly, I didn't lose much at all on the measuring tape, but hopefully this Sat!

              I played squash on Sunday, which was good. I've lost a lot of my touch - I played for about 10 years and was not bad - but still thrashed my housemate :P Today I'm fairly sore, some muscles a bit stiff, but hopefully walking home (~40mins) will loosen them up. I find myself looking forward to gym days, which is really satisfying in itself.
