  • Induction day one....

    Day one....
    OMG, i am craving food, carbs..big time.. I just ate lunch and I feel in the pit of my stomach that i am hungry...but I cant be, I had 1 1/2 cup of chicken salad on lettuce and 10 olive. Pretty filling..but the pit of my stomach wants more.....I think it wants some startchy stuff..? Does anyone know what i am talking about?

    Yes. Have some water... take a few minutes, see if it goes away with that... sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If it doesn't, have something that's like, high fat and see if that counteracts it...

    That's what I usually do for the cravings... the high fat makes me feel full so if I start getting a craving I immediately look for something fatty...

      That is exactly how I feel my first few days in induction! I almost ate a WHOLE whooshie pie!!! I could just eat and eat and eat. I don't get full. I don't know if it's common in everyone, but don't feel alone, I was there! Now, it hasn't been a week, and I only want to eat my 3 meals, not even that big and i'm not hungry in between. it gets better!

        Been there, too. The cravings are part of the beginning of induction, I think. I even had carb dreams. If you ride it out you will find that with this WOE you will eventually feel better, have more energy, and not feel stuffed and like you can take a nap after a low carb meal.
