  • Felicia --- Please Read!

I just wanted to check in on you and see if you were feeling any better? I definately hope that you are. Food poisoning is not one of those fun things, I know! Anyway, hope you're okay!

    Re: Felicia --- Please Read!

Hi Scooter! I'm doing 75% better today! The last 24 hours has been amazing to witness, as I didn't know I could hold that much liquid! Do you all think I should count the pounds lost due to this illnes? lol, I gotta be 10 lbs lighter!

By yesterday afternoon, I was in straight delerium. The aches and pains of my body were just almost unbearable. Thought of going to the ER just to get hydrated and something to put me down. I tried hard to stay hydrated, I know that in the event of being a barfy poopy bag, that dehydration is what gets you. I did okay, but I couldn't keep a thing down. So BF came home with foods I may be able to eat and hooked me up on the chair back massager and bleached down all the surfaces in the house. I was finally able to keep down some pills in the evening and slept okay.

But today I'm just trying to stay out of bed and drink water water water. I'm doing well, thanks for your concern! I'm getting a bit tired, though so I think I'll go hit the couch and lay in the little stream of sunshine coming throught the window.

This just goes as a reminder--when dealing with chicken, spray the surfaces down with bleach water (we had run out) and scrub your hands. SOmething I learned well in the healthcare industry is that soap is not what removes bacteria, the rubbing and scrubbing is what removes it. So y'all be careful with your chicken!

    Thanks Scooter!

No problem, I'm glad your feeling better! Yeah, that chicken thing can get us sometimes. Okay, just wanted to make sure you were okay! Please keep us updated...kudo's to the BF for taking care of you! Sometimes knowing someone's there to help makes it easier, but of course doesn't deadn' the fact you tossed so much liquid, and other stuff, and couldn't care less, when even your eyelashes hurt. But hey....how bout that little ray of sunshine coming in!! Right!

      Glad you're doing better!
