  • Wednesday - Roll Call!

    Good Morning Friends!

    Scooter here. Wow. The weather here in Indiana was beautiful last night. At one of the Restaurants I play at (Cheeseburger In Paradise) they have the big garage doors that have been shut tight all winter. Last night it was 72 degrees and the doors were open, customers were dining outside, the Tikki Torches were burning...it was a wonderful night. As I stood there doing my thing, and drinking my club soda, I started thinking about goals and determination. I started thinking about all my friends here on the board as well. It sounds like almost everybody is setting and maintaining their goals. We all struggle from time to time, but we always seem to push on!

    I just wanted to send out a big congratulations to all my friends. A lot of people take for granted what we are all trying to do here. It takes so much focus and determination to overcome our addictions, and I think from time to time we need to remember to take time and tell ourselves..."good job".

    So anyway....................have a wonderful day all you wonderful STACer's!! I am hoping this nice weather is going to last! Today is the day....I'm signing up for the 5K marathon in May. I'm really a bit leary, as I haven't run since the old Army days....but I see many of you do a lot of running, I guess with anything....baby steps....or baby runs.....or what the heck....just do it!!

    Finally....it took 4 weeks to recover and loose those pesky 14 pounds!!! I forgot to weigh yesterday.....actually....yikes....today is Wednesday, I forgot to weigh in on Monday!! 27 pounds to goal!! YESSSSSSSSS! So that means only 6 more pounds before I post a new 'Scooter - Before and Scooter - After picture.....I can wait...however....patience....patience.....patienc e...

    YEAH YEAH YEAH PATIENCE....I GOT THAT, WHAT'S NEXT...!!!!! lol

        Good Morning Stacers, Scooter you have so much enthusiasium i know i just spelled that all wrong lol, that it is catching. Actually i decided to join in on this check in, been not checking in here for a while now, i have been doing my journal though so i have not been missing all together. As you all know i am having some problems getting back on track, with all that i have been going through, but im going to give it my all today and try and make it through today with out messing myself up. I have been having some serious stomach pains, and im going to try and eat on plan to see if they go away, hopefully it is just some digestive issues going on since i have not been eating very healthy lately. Well i will go now and start my day but i hope you all have a blessed wednesday and i will check in later!!!!

          Good morning STACers....Wow, Scooter, we are all moving towards our goals, OVER COMING OURSELVES and getting there...day by day! Well this is one of those days. If you have been in any way following my words over the last few months, you know today is a date in time, a date I wanted to be here on program. I am here, and I am doing great. I ran 3 miles this morning and feel wonderful! Next big date is Aug.1, 2007 my 1 yr. anniversary....I want to be HERE, then too!

            Thank you Lisa!! Thank you Jess!! Wow.....3 miles.....I don't know how you guys do it, but it appears that I'm going to find out huh? Lisa, I'm sorry about your stomach issues...while eating on the plan, why not try a little club soda?? That always seems to help, kind of like sprite does (which we know is evil haha). Maybe give that a try!

              Morning everyone, day 2 of 1/2 and 1/2 coffee, I lived through it yesterday, just a little tired feeling but thats ok. My daughter quit caffeine and if she can do it so can I. Hubby has a progression plan in place hehe. Scale still not moving but have lost an inch off my hips YIPEEEEEEEE. Its ALL GOOD. Rome wasn't built in a day. Have a GREAT day today.

                Hey all, I hope you're having a great day.

                Jess--congrats on the 3 miles! That's an awesome birthday gift to yourself!

                So today is a great day...I'm celebrating my 5 yr. anniversary with my boyfriend! We have lots of little celebrations planned over the next few days, but honestly, we celebrate every day together.

                I'm feeling skinny today, which is always good, but who knows, that could change by lunchtime, right? I hope you all have a great day STACers!

                  Feeling a little strange. Headachey and tired. So far today, two sausage patties in the morning. Started with some excuses this morning though, didn't listen to them.

                  Day One I apparently ate some ill-advised things, so that day got thrown out.

                  Yesterday became my new day one.

                  Talked with the wife last night and she's wanting to engage in this WOE as well. So as I'm driving into work I had the notion of abandoning my induction until next monday.

                  How silly. I hope the sausages I ate today were on this list, but they were from McDonalds.

                  Pork, whey protein concentrate, water, salt, corn syrup solids, sugar, spices, dextrose, monosodium glutamate, spice extractives, caramel color, BHA and BHT and propyl gallate and citric acid (preservatives). CONTAINS: MILK
                  Nope. GRRRRRRR Frustrating stuff.

                  Oh well. Ever forward. Thanks for being here.

                      I think it's time I joined all you inspiraing STACers after falling off the wagon badly for the 2nd time. So I'll be checking in around here from time to time, feel free to yell at me if I go awry

                      Scary thing: In the 10 days I cheated (very bad food and no exercise) I put on 8lbs. This seems like a record. My body was saying 'hello! No, I don't like carbs!' pretty quickly.

                      Scooterjam, I'm doing a 5k in may. I got my sponsership forms through yesterday. It suddenly seems close Not ready yet... Good luck with your training.

                          Thank you Scooter for being inspiring everyday and a thank you to all who posted for lifting me up some more.

                          Not much going on. It's almost 8am here, hubby took DD to school and I'll be on the treadmill after this post. Then, paperwork and housework.

I'd check in more often if it wasn't for my job. I don't know, something about my boss wanting me to work.....go figure.. haha!
