champagne?

Had 1/2 a glass of champagne tonight, Daughter and Her Hubby came over with the bottle to announce we were going to be Grandparents in Nov or Dec.
Thank you Lord !! now I won't hear " I am never going to get pregnant" again
Hope that wont knock me out of ketosis. Had a salad and hot italian sausage chaser. drinking lots of water. If it puts me back a little I will just push on.
don't think it will hurt too bad. It is the first thing I have eaten that was not on the list since day 1. Baby will have a Granny that is not an ol tired crank, because this WOE is going to help me to have energy and feel GREAT to get out and play.

According to the book, alcohol stops fat-burning, until alcohol is burned up and then we go right back to fat-burning. I suspect the reason why we don't get to have it again for some time is, we need our bodies establishing fat-burning to a premium.

You need to be able to celebrate lifes joys with a little champagne now and then. Your body will burn the alcohol first then go back to burning fat. It shouldnt stall you, just slow you.
