Caffiene is very addictive. It sneaks up on you before you realize. Even when I was doing low fat diets, I would stop drinking my diet coke, and lose 10 pounds right out of the gate.
I limit my Diet Cokes to 1 a day, if that at all, and it's Dessert.
Especially on a hot summer day.......
Remember everything we think and learn here.....is summed up in one word...Moderation.

It's such a tiny word, and it's really damn hard to get it sometimes!!!

Remember this everyday - Something Wonderful Is Going To Happen Today. If you live by that decree you will live life to the fullist.
What does one do when "life" happens. I'm sure some folks have had to do an all nighter here and there or at least have sleepless nights due to work, children, and getting only a few hours of sleep.
Tension and stress are building up and I really have a lot to do. I mistakingly look to coffee or sugar free energy drinks has "SuperMan Elixir".
How does one not "fall asleep at the wheel" without sleep ?
Ditch the caffiene! It's a powerful drug, and harder to give up than carbs. At least it was for me...and many others. You just have to do it. Don't wean yourself off, because you'll still go through withdrawal. Would you rather have someone pull a bandaid off sloooooooooooowly, or have them just yank it in one quick grab? Caffiene is like that bandaid. Might as well yank it off and start clean.
I struggle with this still also and I totally agree it is way worse than giving up Carbs, for sure. I am down to one bottle of diet pop a day. I will do it though!
