Hi everyone. I'm back on the program again after a bad six-month lapse.
I was on Atkins last August and managed to lose 22 pounds in four weeks. Everything was great, I was feeling good, motivated, lots of energy, etc - but then the school year started and I got overloaded with kid problems and lost sight of the long term WOE.
Over the past six months of eating almost exclusively bad bad carbs, I felt like crap, had double the migraines, and managed to gain 10 pounds back.
I'm hoping this time around will be the last time. It will just be the "new me" who eventually can live without all those carby, convenient foods. One thing that is different now is that my husband is on the band wagon. We are both on day 5 of a clean induction and have lost 6 pounds each!
Can't wait to see some familiar names. Everyone on this board was such a support to me last summer and I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this the "second time around".
